Neji's death was for the development of Hinata.... It had a huge impact but still Neji's didn't get any development in Part 2....

I think Choji's death would have made seriously very huge impact since he received more character development.... Neji's death was like trolling him and killing him without much character development....

Just think about it guys.... If Choji died.... The impact would be more than Neji's since Choji was more developed....

I know Inoichi and Shikaku.... The former members of Ino-Shika-Cho died.... I think Kishi sama could have killed Choji....

Ino and Shikamaru lose their dad's and Choza loses his son....

Then probably Ino-Shikamaru-Choza could have done combo attacks and avenged Inoichi,Shikaku and Choji....

It would have made the war a bit more intense I guess....

What do you think guys..?? =D =D

EDIT - Shikamaru and Ino had lost Asuma and their dads.... It would have been more challenging for them as Characters.... =D =D

Yes I agree wholeheartedly.

Infact any of the Ino Shika Chous deaths would have made a greater impact overall.

No, becuase kishi needs to make a parallel.
Neji was a good choice, just reread that chapter and see why yourself.

Neji had some character development development during the chuunin exams.
I think the reason Choji wasn't killed is becasue Shikamaru already lost Asuma and Shikaku, so losing his best friend also would have been too much.

I think Choji's is best of the three cause Ino and Shikamaru lost their dads....
Ino-Shikamaru-Choza could have used Ino-Shika-Cho techs then.... =D =D

That's the exact reason why Kishi sama probably didn't kill him.... =D =D

I don't think Neji's death was to b meaningful because of his character. I think he died because Kishi did not have anything else he wanted to do with him while at the same time needing someone for the leaf village to lose that would affect them emotionally. In other words, he needed a character important enough to matter but not too important to take away from future character plans. Neji was that character, he was a major obstacle in Naruto's path in part one, as well as a significant leader figure to that generation of shinobi. Also, he is one of TWO hyugas in that generation when there is only room for one plot wise to be frank. Neji was a great character, but it was his time to go.

If Chouji died, does that mean that the Alliance would have formed a butterfly instead of a bird?.....

No, but I disagree, Neji's death was more for Naruto's development than it was for Hinata's. The development came all the way from the Chuunin exams. It was also about what Neji's character represented. Chouji dying wouldn't have made as much of an impact plot wise.

I really thought this out, so please take the time to read it, especially if you plan to criticize it, which is totally okay. Telll me what you think of my thoughts ^-^

I understand your point.... Neji was neither a fodder whose death won't make an impact nor too important as he anyway's hadn't received any development.... He was somewhere in middle.... That's why he was the best choice.... Still I feel it didn't make as much as impact as Choji's death would on the story as well as the readers.... =D =D

I get what you want to say.... But perhaps killing him gave Neji development as well cause Neji always aspired to be free.... =D =D

This is more of a Team 10 and Choji Thread.... =D =D

1st. Nah, Like the guy said earlier, Shika already lost his teacher and his father. Losing his best Friend would have been too much.

2nd. Neji death was meant to develop Naruto more than Hinata, because they were sort of rivals and became closer friends in part 2. Better friends than Choji and Naruto. So yeah Neji's deaths did more overall

P.S Truthfully, I think Kiba should have died but that's just meh
