Chojiro's Hammer??

Hey people just wondering about when kakashi and gai, fought the previous generation of the seven swordsman of the mist... where was chojiros hammer / sword..?? or is he the first one to have it?

Mangetsu can´t summon a sword that is with its owner, and since Samehada and Hiramekarei are with their current owners they cannot be summoned by Mangetsu. It could be assumed Mangetsu is Hiramekarei´s former master.
