Choji Vs Neji

Not that I'm giving up this debate here, but if all else fails, Neji could just simply outlast him by dodging his attacks with his superior speed. It takes a hefty amount of chakra to use and maintain his large form so he will eventually run out before Neji does.

That wouldn't work. You keep on overlooking Chojis size in comparison to Nejis.

Choji is able to jump/fly pretty high, covering much more ground then what Neji will on foot. When Choji lands on the ground, the blast radius will still hit Neji no matter how fast he is.

Guys, Choji might be able to beat Neji but Neji is better than him and should be placed higher on the Konoha 11 ranking tier list. Think of it this way, Choji is a bad match up for Neji because it is going to be very difficult for Neji to seal up all his chakra points. On the other hand, people like Darui, Temari and Kankuro will fodderize him BECAUSE he turns big. On the other hand, Neji is faster, has an ultimate defence and is smarter than Choji. For these reasons, I believe Neji beats more people and would hold his own against opponents more powerful than Choji better than Choji can. In other words, Neji should be ranked higher than Choji even though Choji beats Neji. Get it?

Yeah, i agree to a certain extent. Chojis durability while in BM really hasn't been shown yet though. I would love to see whether he can tank hits such as Raiton, Suiton, etc.

Neji happens to be very underrated on this forum because he uses mostly taijutsu, which in itself is also very underrated in comparison to ninjutsu and genjutsu. As a gentle fist user, with the second fastest handspeeds in the manga, he can shut down anyones chakra points, leaving them unable to use jutsu and restricting their movement.

Lol @bold, I'm going to have to save this post the next time a Neji>Sasuke or Neji>Tsunade thread is made. I don't think taijutsu is underrated compared to ninjutsu and genjutsu but ask yourself this, what makes a character OP? Are Madara, Hashirama, Naruto, Nagato, Sasuke, Minato and Itachi powerful because of their taijutsu? Absolutely not. Also it takes a while for gentle fist to do what it needs to do. We saw this countless times in Neji and Hinata's battles while other forms of combat are one shot kills. This is one reason why I sometimes underrate gentle fist and in extention, Neji and Hinata.

Also even though I believe Neji will become a very strong ninja in his prime, his peers like Kankuro and Temari, IMO will be stronger since their potential isn't limited. Ninjutsu can always be improved upon while with taijutsu, after a while, you can't improve it any more.

Exactly what I'm talking about. Actually, gentle fist causes immediate damage wherever they strike and it is also possible to kill someone with a precise blow to the heart.

Taijutsu and speed/technique/strength can always be improved upon. The body itself doesn't have limits, which is why guy and lee are so powerful right now, because they go beyond what they are capable of to become stronger.

Choji destroys shino.
Sai is debatable because he can fly out of chojis range.
