Appearance Chitose is a lean, well-built young man of average height with fair-skin, dark red eyes, and light brown-colored hair with a blue tint. His hair is hung over much of his face as incredibly long bangs. He has two thick sets of bangs that are parted more towards the right side of his face, with a thinner set of bangs that go straight down along the left side of his face. Chitose dons a white mid-sleeve button down shirt that he leaves unbuttoned. The sleeves of the shirt are studded with 10 flat orange studs on the side of the shoulder, followed by a red stripe. Above the shirt, Chitose wears tough brown leather chest plate, with a left flap buttoned over the right pectoral. The end of a dark green rope is seen popping out from the leather flap. He also wears a high colored bright red sleeveless vest that is kept parted down the center. The vest has a reddish brown lining and orange outline. The front of the vest depicts a single traditional dragon artwork that is split between both sides. The top portion of his pants are baggy, but tightly held around his waist and above his knees where they are tightly kept inside his dark plated knee-high boots that go down to his ankles. He has dark blue socks and standard shinobi sandals that are tied to his boots. Black armbands are seen on both of Chitose' arms, with the top of each band spanning from the elbow to his knuckles, and up to his wrist on the bottom. A white knot is made that wraps around the base of his middle fingers to hold the armbands in place. His dark green belt acts as a holder for his katana. The scabbard of the blade rests on the side of Chitose's waist. Personality From a young age, Chitose was always quite an outgoing child, very active and curious of his surroundings. He always had the belief that others should be trusted until proven unworthy. Stemming from his responsible nature though, Chitose became aware of this and resolved to not be so generous with his trust. Despite this, he always maintains a respectful nature with others. He always gives his best efforts when giving a first impression, and in things he works on. This stems from his belief that anything with value should be made as best as it can be. It was this mature way of thinking that allows Chitose too stay in control of his emotions during stressful times. He always tends to look at the bright side, but is not oblivious to the negative. Chitose also seems to have a a well-rounded personality. His interests seem to show no bound, as he likes to indulge in a myriad of different activities and practices. While not necessarily obsessed, Chitose does have an obvious interest in learning and mastering all sorts of abilities. For this reason, Chitose has a fundamental understanding of almost every ability known in the shinobi world, a result from his constant studying through ninja scrolls and traveling. This is also the reason for Chitose to use nearly all of the Basic 5 Elements while he is in battle, despite having specialties that he can perform better. |

] | Water Mastery After his training, Chitose became well versed in Water Release jutsus. After such time, he realized that he had a natural affinity towards Water Release, which was unique from his clan. Seeing this as an opportunity to stand out from his clan, Chitose developed his skills to a point where he only needs a single handseal to perform all Water Release jutsus. Lightning Proficiency Wanting to find an elemental release that complimented his skills in Water Release, Chitose was inclined towards improving his skill in Lightning Release. From a young age, he was trained to harness his skill in the field. After time, Chitose learned to utilize the style with great skill. While not with as much experience as Water, Chitose has proven to be extremely powerful in Lightning Release jutsus, being able to perform all Lightning Release jutsus that require handseals at a much faster rate. Body Arts As a Hyūga, Chitose naturally had an incredible attraction to Taijutsu. His reaction time allows him to keep up with even the fastest of ninjas. Unlike the graceful nature of the Hyūga though, Chitose was an avid user of the Strong Fist style. This did not mean that Chitose dislike Gentle Fist, on the contrary he loved it. His attraction to both led him to use either form of combat in his battles. As such, Chitose was able to specialize in Taijutsu and to perform unique techniques, like the Leaf Dragon God technique. Sword Arts Chitose, being the gifted individual that he was, was adept in the way of the sword. He heavily enjoys using the sword, as he describes the blade as an extension of his own body. After much practice and training, he has since become a master of the sword and utilizes the sword in most of his battles. He is seen carrying around a katana along his waist, ready to be drawn at anytime. Maned Wolves During his travels, Chitose went to great lengths to search for a contract he could truly be attached to. His time would lead him to a fellow Dōjutsu rival of his, Shayde Uchiha. Shayde was the owner of the Maned Wolf contract, a unique contract that was tied a group of canine beasts, each with an incredibly unique and diverse abilities. Rank: C Range: Short Chakra Cost: 15 Damage Points: 30 Description: The user performs the Summoning Jutsu, either through Hand Seals, their Summoning Tattoo or their Summoning Scroll, and slams their hand into the ground in order to summon a pair of "regular" Maned Wolf Summoning Animals, with no special qualities of their own. These wolves have pitch black fur and specialize in stealth and close quarters, and they have maximized their potential in this field by mimicking the properties of the "Shadow Shuriken Technique". By "hiding" in the users shadow, they completely blend into it, only being exposed when a form of bright light affects the area around the user, such as the kind created by a flash bomb, or a Fire Release Jutsu within close enough proximity to affect the user's shadow. These wolves remain concealed within the user's shadow until the user enters striking distance of the opponent, which is when the wolves take action. With every offensive Taijutsu action, the wolves remain hidden within the shadow of the users attack, and perform their own attacks, either chomping the target with their jaws, or swiping at the opponent with their paws. With their Summoner leading the charge, the wolves attack from the shadows, attempting to ensure their summoner's victory through unforeseen, simultaneous physical attacks. The wolves remain in combat until they are either disbanded by the user, or dispatched by an enemies counter-attack. "There's no point trying to hide from these eyes... I can see everything." History Chitose was born within the respected Hyūga clan. His mother was a kunoichi outside of the clan, which explains why Chitose's eyes are normally colored when his Byakugan is not active. For the next few years that followed, Chitose grew up admiring the many incredible shinobis, especially looking up to those of his clan. After quite awhile, Chitose realized his dream of becoming an incredibly strong ninja that would be known throughout the lands. Following his dreams, Chitose soon joined the academy and entered the road to shinobi. His quest went through many struggles though. Different situations were placed in front of Chitose that made his journey much more serious than he'd originally think it would be. Despite this, Chitose kept his strong attitude and has pressed forward despite the obstacles that played ahead. During his time in the academy, Chitose had become friends with several other aspiring, as well as forming a rivalry against one particular shinobi, Saizo Uchiha. The two naturally shared a rivalry, each trying to prove that their own respective Dōjutsu was superior. At each passing moment, the two would challenge one another. Over time, the two had grown into incredibly powerful shinobi, graduating at an early age, as well as becoming the strongest of friends. To their amusement, the two were placed together within a squad as Genin. Seeing this as an opportunity, Chitose made a promise to himself to grow stronger to protect his friends, especially Saizō. At each passing moment, the two would one-up each other. Eventually, the two of them reached the chunin rank by the age of 11. It was at this time that where he reached his lowest point. During a mission, Chitose traveled to The Hidden Mist Village with his squad. His travels were not easy by any means though. His squad was intercepted by the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist (NB Version). Throughout the entire brawl, Chitose was so overwhelmed by the skills they displayed. However, this was short-lived, as his fellow teammate had fallen in battle. In the midst of battle, Chitose had been incapacitated and on the brink of death. At the last possible moment, Saizō's Sharingan was activated. Although unfamiliar with his new powers, his powers did significantly change the course of the battle. Despite this, no finishing blow could be made to either side, and Chitose and Saizō's squad was left to retreat. | Background Information

Luck was not on Chitose's side. He had barely escaped with his life, and was struggling to return to the village with his squad, with both him and Saizō carrying his teammate's dead body along the way. Upon passing the village gates, the two of them would faint from exhaustion. His fellow Konoha-Nin had quickly noticed and sent him to the hospital. Upon waking up, he was showered with concerned faces of his peers. While he was gone, the historical event had occurred. No one could bear to tell the news to Saizo. Believing the news would be best if given to by his friend, the group revealed to Chitose that the Uchiha Massacre had just occurred. Stunned, Chitose was left with unaware with what to do. Knowing something was wrong, he planned to find out what had happened. During the night, when the two were alone in their hospital room, Saizo demanded to know the truth. With a heavy sigh, Chitose explained what was told to him. A moment after explaining, Saizo escaped from the hospital and returned straight back to his home at the Uchiha district. As his friend had left him alone in the hospital room, Chitose stared blankly as he sat up on his bed. After some time, Chitose gave off a heavy sigh. Chitose made his resolve and followed his friend into the night. He didn't know what would to do, but he knew that he was going to be there for his friend. Chitose had arrived at the ghost town, shocked by the aroma of death present throughout the streets. He could only imagine what his friend was going through at this time. He was so heavily concerned for his friend, rushing through the streets towards his friends' old home. He began to look back at his memories with Saizō, and held back his tears as he knew he must stay strong for his best friend. He arrived at Saizō's home and walked in. Upon entering, Chitose noticed the bloodstains everywhere and his friend, in what could only be their lowest points. Based on his facial expression and the full maturity of his Sharingan, Chitose could easily tell that his friend needed him now more than ever. Upon trying to comfort him, Saizō revealed his hatred towards the village and sought revenge. He revealed that he could see the village's disdain against the Uchiha clan, which Chitose immediately realized. And with that idea in his mind, Saizō revealed that he would leave the village. At that moment, Chitose had immediately sided with Saizō, and though he also now harbored negative views towards the Hidden Leaf Village, even wanting to dissociate himself with it, he had no intention of revenge. So he argued with Saizō, forcing him to refrain from any actions, leaving him with the agreement that once Saizō would became strong enough to defeat him as well as having full understanding of the Uchiha Massacre and those responsible. Despite agreeing, Saizō vowed to leave the village. With his new resolve, Saizō abandoned the village and made his way back to the place he had just barely survived, believing it to be a place of great power. Chitose reluctantly followed and the two officially were instated as Kiri-Nin. They immediately got to work and continued his training. One part of Chitose's training was honing his weaponry skills. He even fashioned himself a blade like Saizō did, albeit a much simpler one. Throughout his time, Chitose continuously trained until he had mastered the basics alongside Saizō. The two would constantly spar, with every single one ending in both sides falling. They were evenly matched, both helping each other get stronger, both physically and mentally. Upon reaching the age of 19, Chitose had become aware of the true answer of the Night of the Uchiha Massacre after the 4th Great Ninja World War alongside Saizō. Chitose was at peace knowing what truly happened and was able to go on happy, knowing his friend was at peace. Chitose had begun the next chapter in his life, alongside his best friend. |

Other Ninja Tools As part of Chitose's training, he focused on becoming extremely adept in weaponry. Similar to Saizō, Chitose fashioned his own blade. His is a simple katana with a grip wrapped in red velvet leather. The circular cross guard is a golden with a dented spiral design. The scabbard of the blade is black with golden traditional patterns along it's length. Orange cloths are seen wrapped around it at varying lengths. He also carries a variety of Ninja Tools on his person for quick access. These tools include: Ninja Wire, Pre-Written Scrolls/Tags, Projectiles (Kunai/Shuriken), and Bombs (Paper/Smoke/Flash).
