Chishio Tensou no Jutsu (Blood Transfusion Skill)

Loss of blood is a serious condition, and a not very uncommon one in the shinobi battlefield. When a person reaches such a dangerous state, a Medical Ninja can ease their symptoms by using this jutsu. First, the medical nin places a surgically precise cut on the patient and then another cut on the donor. The donor and the recipient must have their respective cuts within six inches of each other; this is typically accomplished by cutting their opposing arms and having them lay beside each other. The Medical Ninja then forms a sphere of chakra between the two cuts drawing out blood from both patients and altering it so that the blood type of the donor matches that of the recipient. It is important to remember that taking more than 1 pint of blood from a donor is extremely dangerous, even with the loss of only 1 pint of blood the donor may suffer from dizziness and fatigue.

The Technique:

(Iryō Ninjutsu: Chishio Tensou no Jutsu) Medical Technique: Blood transfusion Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Once the Medical Ninja has a donor (a willing one or not), he or she makes two small cuts, one on the patient, and one on the donor, placing them side by side so it is easy to put those cuts about 30 cms apart. Then the Nin forms a chakra orb which then transfuses the blood from the donor to the patient. The technique requires high levels of chakra control and can even change the blood type of the donor to match that of the patient.
Note: It transfers 400ml of blood per turn

Homework:

The homework for the class is to write a small description and explanation of blood loss and its effects on humans, namely in narutoverse context. You'll be graded in how you can join real life logic with narutoverse logic. You can write the Homework here or in individual threads. Your choice.

Blood Loss or in a realistic term called hemorrhaging , is basically the loss of red blood cells when blood vessel or artery is ruptured/damaged. This can be internally from trauma or externally through broken skin cells, which when in the ninja world for example some one is stabbed by a kunai or have a severed limb can be seen bleeding out of it. Blood loss has can have affects on ninjas depending on how much is lost ranging from Anemia which is from excess bleeding to minor dizziness , paling of the skin etc.

It can also lead to collasping of the body due to the lack of oxygen missing from the body as a result of blood loss as the red blood carries it in the blood stream.

Blood loss, also known as hemorrhaging, occurs when blood leaks from the blood vessels or arteries inside the body, either through a natural opening, or through a self/person inflicted wound. The former being for things like a person's nose bleeding due to the extreme heat, and the latter would be when someone is perhaps impaled by a stone spike during a fight, or simply hit by someone with a well placed punch to the face. Nonetheless, Hemorrhaging is split into four parts in real life, where each level is worse than the other, and more blood is lost as it goes further, with level 1 being the most basic and not dangerous, and level 4 being critical state.

As a Medical Shinobi, one should be weary as to not withdraw too much blood, as it can lead to the patient being in a critical state, the normal allowed percentage of blood which can be withdrawn is 8-10%. Of course with blood loss, comes some symptoms. When blood loss is rapid, it causes the blood pressure to fall and causes dizziness within the person loosing the blood. When it occurs gradually, the person loosing blood, may become pale and be short of breath, and thus, makes it difficult for the person, because the number of oxygen-carrying red blood cells has decreased quite fast.
