I love both Vietnamese food and Chinese food. I haven't had Vietnamese food for over a year now so I'd want it more ! XD

pho is good, but that's all i know of vietnamese food. i have tasted actual chinese food only once or twice, but i gotta go with chinese. i just like hot they mask awesome flavors with other awesome flavors and they all combine sexily in your mouth. this is only during those rare food festivals though, not in your americanized 'chinese' food. :| pho is great too though. i just need to taste more vietnamese stuff.

I've had the US versions of both and I guess Vietnamese is slightly better although I prefer sushi overall.

Both are great but your example of a Chinese dish leaves much to be desired. They don't eat that stuff. That's fast food.
