China likes to ban things. This is not news.

But the most recent thing China banned is making waves nonetheless: depictions of gay people on television.

And the government can either continue pulling such shows from the airwaves, as it has been doing, or it can come right out and draw a line in the sand saying people can't put the shows on the air in the first place.
That second option just sounds cleaner, doesn't it?
The government issued a new set of regulations in December, though they weren't widely circulated until recently.
The regulations state that “No television drama shall show abnormal sexual relationships and behaviors, such as incest, same-*** relationships, sexual perversion, sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual violence, and so on.”


The new rules appeared a week after a controversial show called Addicted Heroin, about gay teenagers, was pulled from video streaming sites in China. The show can now only be viewed on YouTube, which is blocked in China. Several other shows featuring gay characters have also been pulled in recent months.
The new rules also frown upon a range of other content ranging from cleavage to witchcraft and including — no surprise — historical depictions “harmful to the unity and sovereignty of the country and its territorial integrity,” according to Buzzfeed.
The move is part of a wider morality campaign aimed at cracking down on "vulgar, immoral and unhealthy content."
There's no use broadcasting content that "exaggerates the dark side of society" when the Chinese government is doing a fine job of that on its own.

You know, I'm pretty sure I remember news that China wants to influence people to take interest in romantic relation through anime cause the wage slave culture made it wiser and more affordable to not start a family altogether, recently didn't they lift the ban on one child policy or were thinking about it too, I don't remember but they defo got bigger priorities.

In most organisms adapted to group living, inter-group wars are biologically normal.

Not that homosexuality is comparable, the point is that the argument is special pleading unless you can furnish a case as to why we should give homosexuality normative sanction based on its naturalness.

Additionally, aversion to homosexuality until recently has been the rule in most cultures and societies, the west included - as usual, liberals like to point out the commonalities between different people except when it comes to cultural universals that do not accord with their agenda.

The problem isn't so much people of the same *** going about their private lives as they want as that gay-marriage is often advanced as part of a complete package that includes the rest of the decadent leftist values - thoughtcrime laws that criminalize 'hate speech' about them, the normalization of sexual promiscuity and the erosion of the family unit more generally.

Chinese culture - my girlfriend is Chinese and I practically live within the Chinese community in England these days - is one of the most family oriented that I know of. Likewise fidelity in relationships and marriage are still esteemed as core virtues while sexual promiscuity is openly contemned as a vice.

The Chinese people understand very well that promoting homosexuality will entail accepting more and more parts if not the whole package of that accelerant of cultural, national and indeed, civilizational, suicide known as the 'sexual revolution.'

I wouldn't say Religion itself spreads hate more like bad propaganda/ideology which can use Religions,Clubs,Organizations,Governments,Media, and Cultures to spread, if everybody just took a step back and looked at the world for a second we wouldn't be having most of these problems. Mankind has come far but at the sametime become very ignorant and selfish we're destroying the earth and each other, Mostly everything that has come in contact with or created by man has been corrupted.
