No, I am not shitting you. What you read in the title, yes, that is a thing that has happened in real life.

A 6-year-old girl in Keshavpura, India was raped by 40-year old Kailash, in their neighborhood about two weeks ago.

“Kailash locked her in a room and raped her. Instead of registering a police complaint, elders belonging to the girl’s caste called a panchayat (village council) meeting,” a police official said.
The council ruled that the family of the girl must force her to marry the 8-year-old son of Kailash. Both parties refused this ruling, and while they continued negotiating, Kailash raped her again!

Finally, the family left the village and are being protected by the police. Kailash was arrested and a full investigation is under way to uncover secrets within the village and the panchayat.

Umm, that is so sad.
She will grow up resenting her family, and hating her husband.
She will develop some feeling for him over the course of the marriage and abide by the rules of marriage.
Her father in law when then manipulate those feeling to get her to do things for him all through her life (by threatening to tell her husband of her infidelity) , she will ultimately fear him. even at an elderly age.
Her husband will probably beat her because nothing he seems to do pleases her.
She will resent there children but when raised and carefully watch them so they wont end up like her, one of them will most likely be the seed of her and her father in law, and she will resent that one the most.

Her whole like would be sad, she needs justice.
