Kishi ruined the theme of the manga with the child of prophesy bull sh!t and it didn't even really add anything to the story.
What did Naruto accomplish that made us say, "Oh wow, now it makes sense that he was the child of prophesy"? What did he do that only he could do bc he was the child of prophesy?
He made friends with the beasts. Sure. But Kishi could've written the story as him being a regular guy who accomplished it bc his personality and big heart enabled him to do so. Same deal with Killer Bee. They're just caring, genuine ppl who could befriend anyone.
The child of prophesy thing was just this completely unnecessary element that didn't elevate the story in any way. And for Kishi to have the Sage say, 'ugh, yea, this is what I hoped for...a blond haired kid to befriend the beasts...hahahaha"....like wtf?!?
So now Naruto becoming hokage feels less 'special' bc of that dumb, unnecessary theme that added nothing to the plot whatsoever.
Just a rant. That is all.
