I still think all three of them were the Child Of Prophecy and all did something there own way to improve the final child of prophecy.

Minato he could have killed the mask man if he wanted to. He still had him tag and could teleport to em and finish the work but he wanted to protect his child. Minato will still have something to do with Obito.

Nagato if Minato ever did that Nagato would still have pain and carried on and ended up doing all the bad things causing more war and pain and peace would never be achieved because of em but Naruto changed and got logic from him, if he haven't revived the leaf citizens they would come back for vengeance and peace would not be achieved.

Naruto learned from both his successors to find true Peace Jiraiya has finished his mission that the great elder sage because the Elder toad visions are accurate but not completely spot on like he did with naruto telling him he will meet a squid but it was bee
