"Child of Prophecy" dead?

Basically as we found out from this chapter the sage has acknowledged that both brothers can inherit his mantle and there is no need for a single child of prophecy any longer.

So since the So6P is the creator of the prophecy he can change it as he sees fit as far as I'm concerned. The toad sage might also be wrong or just overruled.

Do you guys think that the original prophecy has changed and no longer means what it used to?

No. That didn't happen at all, the Sage only called Naruto the child of prophecy.

He gave power to Sasuke because he didn't want to make the mistake of entrusting too much power to one person again.

The Sage said, "Its time for the Child of Prophecy to change the world," not the children of prophecy the child of prophecy.

No, the prophecy was to bring a great change to the ninja world, the Sage didn't make the prophecy, he clearly said it was as the old toad foretold not himself.

OT: The toad sage made the prophecy. Which includes the Bijuu coming together in a blond and blue eyed kid. That came true. However, the Toad simply didn't equate Sasuke into the picture. The Sage has already noted his past mistake. It simply shows the cycle of hate is collapsing.

The prophecy also states that Naruto will saves the world from a young man with powerful eyes. Madara's not a young man though. So Sasuke, and Naruto may have a final battle.
