This story takes place in the world.of Zeo. In the world of Zeo, there are humans, monstrous animals and a.special entity known as Astrals. Astrals are creatures that resemble and function just like humans, but with special abilities and powers. Astrals have a mystic energy that their body generates, called Chikara. Astrals can "relieve" the power to Nature. In exchange, they gain access to certain powers.

Some Astrals simply use their power for adventure.
Some use their power for evil. Some believe Astrals don't belong...

Our story chronicles a young man named Rakurai. Along with his friends Kusuri and Hoshi, he embarks on a mission to achieve his life goal: to live life to its fullest. On the way, they meet new friends. However, they have no idea that they are about to get involved in something much, much bigger.

A young man was walking about in a jungle. He had spiky blue hair that was pointing slight backwards and downwards. He wore a silver high-collared shirt on the inside and black pants that ended just past his knees and blue boots. In his hand, he held a metal staff. As he walked, a giant thudding sound echoed through the jungle.

Young Man: Hmm?

The young man looked to his left. To his left, birds and some animals began to run past him. A cloud of dust had been kicked up and trees started to fall. Suddenly, a giant red boar rushed past the trees and was barreling towards him.

Young man: Oh, crap!

The young man jumped up and over the boar just as it got near him. The man landed on the boar as it rammed into the boulder, destroying it with its tasks. He had dropped his staff right after landing.

Young man: Damn! You're a pretty abnormal boar. But I'm not a.regular guy you know!

The boar began to roar and buck, trying to throw the young man off. The man simply held on and laughed.

Man: See, I'm an Astral.

The man held out his fist and small bolts of lightning crackled around his hand. He grinned and punched the boat in the head. Its eyes widened, then it passed out.

The man jumped off the boar's slumped body. He picked up his staff and held it behind his back. Suddenly, there was another roaring sound. He turned and even bigger boat growled at him.

Young man: You wanna go too?

Suddenly, a tree cracked and fell on the boar, knocking it out and kicking up a smoke of dust.

???: Rakurai, you gotta stop getting in trouble.

The young man, Rakurai, grinned wider.

Rakurai: I woulda got 'im, Kusuri.

Another young man, Kusuri, stepped out of the smoke. He had.red hair that was spiked forward and had several spiky hair locks hanging in front of his forehead. He wore a white jacket that was completely open and white pants. Around his waist was a green sash that held a sheath. He held a katana in his right hand with the blade resting on his shoulder. He had a muscular body.

Kusuri: If I hadn't cut that tree, the boar might have killed you.

He smirked and sheathed the sword. Rakurai walked over to him and pushed him.

Rakurai: Yeah, right. I could've taken that thing in my sleep. Is Hoshi here with you?

Kusuri: Naw, she's in the town drinking tea. You know she doesn't like this jungle.

Rakurai: Oh. Let's head back to town then.

The two walked back towards a path. They followed it until they got to a near-modern town. They walked into a cafe. The second they stepped in, a large man walked up to Kusuri and Rakurai

Man: No weapons allowed

Kusuri: Ah, ok.

Kusuri took off the sheath and handed it to the man. Rakurai handed him the staff. Kusuri followed Rakurai to a table that Hoshi was sitting at. Hoshi was wearing a brown skirt, white T-shirt and fishnet stockings. She had on red shoes and had brown hair. Her eyes were amber.

Kusuri: You sure picked a good place to catch a break, Hoshi. This place seems so uptight.

Hoshi: You two are just neanderthals. Look at Rakurai and his unkept hair. And you don't even have your jacket zipped up.

Rakurai folded his arms.

Rakurai: You're the one who suggested we become bandits for fun. Don't act all classy. Besides, that brings me to something I wanna talk to you guys about.

Kusuri: What is it?

Rakurai: Well, we've been hanging around in this town all our life. I've been thinking, why don't we leave and go an adventure? Let's travel around and live life!

Hoshi: That sounds so bothersome.

Rakurai: Come on! We're Astrals! We weren't meant to just hang around. Kusuri, you wanna be part.of that Swordsmen Group, right?

Hoshi: Swordsman Group?

Kusuri: It's an organization. The Rokukenshi. The six strongest and deadliest swordsmen make up the group.

Hoshi: I've heard of that! Don't you have to defeat a current member of that group to get in?

Kusuri: Yeah.

Rakurai: Which is even more reason to go! Do you really think you can get strong enough to beat any of those guys by just hanging around here!

Kusuri: Not at all. After all, my dad's a member, and he had to train for years around Zeo.

Rakurai: See? You guys gotta agree!

Kusuri: I'm in.

Hoshi: I have always wanted to travel the world. I guess I'm not ready...

Rakurai: Come on!

Hoshi: Hmm. Ok, then.

Rakurai: Yes! Let's go!

The trio stood. Hoshi left some money, called Tsuka in Zeo, on the table. They started to leave. The large man stood in front of them and folder his arms.

Kusuri: Yo. We're trying to leave.

Man: I know that. But I can't let you go.

Rakurai: Is it cuz we didn't buy nothin'?

Kusuri: Hey, hold on! Where's my sword?

Man: I'm afraid you're not gonna be getting it back.

Kusuri: The hell?

Man: You three just admitted to being bandits!

Rakurai: Yeah, but we only steal.from other bandits! We always give back most of what was stolen to their owners, if we can find em.

Hoshi: Yeah, plus we've lived in this town our whole lives, over in the East District. No one has a problem with out thievery there.

Man: We don't know how the East District does it, but over here in the North District, thievery is prohibited. Normal bandits usually have to pay a fee with some community service.

Hoshi: That's great!

Man: Nuh, uh. Astrals need to go to the Cells.

Kusuri: The Prison District? I thought that was torn down and remade into the South District.

Man: It was, but the prison is still there, called the Cells.

Suddenly, a man with a purple coat, black shirt and brown boots stood up.

Coat man: I knew it.

He pointed at Rakurai.

Coat man: You stole my staff! I thought I recognized you!

Rakurai: Only cuz you stole it from a traveling merchant! I woulda gave it back, but he left!

Large Man: So you're a bandit too, huh?!

Coat Man: ?!

Large Man: You're all coming with me!

The coat man grabbed his glass of booze and threw it in the Large Man's eyes.

Kusuri: Guys, now!

Rakurai and Hoshi nodded. The trio ran through the now-rowdy crowd, knocking down people as they ran.

Hoshi: Sorry! Excuse us!

The trio ran into a back room. There, they picked up the staff and sword. Kusuri used the handle of the sheathed sword to bust open a window. He pointed at it with his thumb.

Kusuri: Let's get the hell out of here!

The trio jumped out and ran into the woods. The purple coat guy looked out the window.

Coat Man: Keep running, you little shits! I'm gonna get you!

Hoshi: Screw you, old guy!

A few hours later, the trio were in the East District. They were in their home. After packing, they left and went to the dock. There, Rakurai heard something interesting from two fishermen talking.

Fisherman: Did ya hear? A trio of kid bandits caused a ruckus in the North District. The Force is looking for em to take em to the Cells. They're wanted here now.

Rakurai purchased three tickets for a boat and they got on.

Kusuri: Finally! Tomorrow, our.adventure begins for real!
