Kirin: Something worst?
Kusuri was now awake.
Tekko: Yes. Domu is a member of a criminal organization that has been taking towns hostage. They have political corruption, and are a real threat. Domu is somewhere in-between. He's not very high up, but he isn't at the bottom of their food chain. We happened to stumble upon him by accident, but I feel we should target them.
Kusuri: So there's guys stronger than Domu in this organization?
Tekko grinned.
Tekko: Does it unnerve you?
Kusuri: Nope. Sounds interesting, a good adventure. It'll just give us an excuse to work out till we get stronger.
Kirin: Wait a second, where's Hoshi.
Hoshi walked into the room.
Hoshi: Here I am.
Kirin: Thank goodness you're alive!
Hoshi: Why would I be dead?! I'm not the one who didn't do his job and ran off to fight a crazy-strong dictator!
Kirin: Yep, you missed out!
Hoshi: Look at you two! You looked like mummies in those bandages!
Kusuri: Heh. I guess we did get bashed up a bit.
Hoshi: A bit?! You were burned internally!
Kusuri: That bad, huh?
Hoshi: Yes that bad! You could have died!
Kusuri: Sounds serious.
Kirin: So what now?
Tekko: We're almost at the island the tournament's being held in. We're gonna rest and relax. Then, when we enter the tournament, fight out hardest. Later today, there's gonna be a festival. We're gonna hit it, then rest up again. Tonight, focus on enjoying yourselves.
Kirin pumped his fist.
Kirin: Yes!
Hoshi: Are you sure that's a good idea? They're pretty bashed up.
Tekko: Oh, a little fun never hurt anyone.
A few hours later, they pulled up to a dock and got off. Tekko touched the scroll and it transformed into a scroll. He put the scroll away and they checked into a hotel. In the room, Kusuri went onto the balcony. He did a hand-stand and started pushing his body up and down.
Hoshi: What the hell are you doing?!
Kusuri: Training, duh.
Hoshi: Tekko said relax!
Kusuri: I'll be relaxing plenty at the festival. I gotta be focused now and spend the next few hours training.
Kirin: He's right. I gotta feeling this tournament isn't gonna bea buncha pushovers.
Hoshi: So? How is that any reason to push yourself like that?! He could re-open his wounds!
Kusuri: Don't worry about me. I'm good.
Hoshi: Whatever!
A few hours later, the trio were walking through the festival.
Kusuri: I wish Tekko didn't stop at every tavern we came across. He should be enjoying the festival with us.
Hoshi: You know him, always hitting on women while drinking alcohol, even back in town.
Kirin: Hey, what's that?
Hoshi: What?
Kusuri: It's a sign. "Super Coaster. Just 7 Dorus."
Kirin: Why would a ride be that cheap?
Kusuri: Dunno. Wanna check it out?
Kirin: Sure do!
Hoshi: I don't know. It's in a pretty shady part of this festival.
Kirin and Kusuri were already walking towards the corner.
Hoshi: Are you even listening to me?!!
Kirin: Are you coming?
Hoshi let out a deep breath.
Hoshi: Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one with any brains.
Hoshi started walking.
Two men were on a roof. They were both wearing dark cloaks that revealed only their eyes and noses.
Man 1: They fell for it.
Man 2: Yeah. These guys took out Domu?
Man 1: Hmm, let me do it.
Man 2: I haven't seen you use that power in a while.
Man 1: It's not everyday we face someone who can take out one of our figureheads.
Kusuri was now awake.
