Chikara arc

I actually like this new arc, it is nice to see some new story apart from fillers, which doesnt belong to the manga.

The first chapter was great, i liked it how the edo tensei won´t work and how it was still not perfected. That lake full of nature, maybe where kabuto learned about sage mode. Getting to see deidara back in action, just awesome.

The second chapter was also good, we get some good plot, naruto being infected and probably kabuto talking to madara via scroll, just cool. The little guy leo telling the chubi guy his mum is gone and the little girl at 3:20 playing the xylophone looked so much alike to sasori when he was a child, just too cute.

What do you guys think about this arc? Do you like it? Do you even watch it? Do you hate kabuto´s appearence as much as i do? Debate

Looking foward to next chapter.

I was hoping for some Itachi action as well and that guy doesn't even look anywhere close to Kabuto. I'm all for originality but don't make Kabuto look totally different that yo can't recognize him. Other than that, I like it so far.

Also when they were in the hot springs, when Naruto was standing on the water and the kids said "wow, no wonder he's a hero..." I thought they were talking about his ****. loool

It is not that bad, its actually pretty good

especially with kakashi, gai and shikamaru on route

...what i really ponder is what was kabuto on about when he was talking about naruto??
- and like why are there snakes in naurto....??

This filler arc takes place when the leaf village was destroyed, and before the war starts so Yamato was not captured yet. I hope that helps

I finally watched the last two episodes and I liked it. And I usually hate filler. Much better than the war filler. The fact that it is beautifully animated helps.

But I probably would have ignored it until I saw that Kakashi, Gai, and Shika are coming. If they do Shikamaru vs. naked Hidan than Itachi can go sit in a corner and wait. Filler or no filler, I'll be drooling over those two continuing their rivalry. Shika and Hidan going at it is something I always wanted to see again. My favorite character and favorite villain. And yes I sort of ship them. And it should have happened during the war instead of that horrible zombie Asuma fight that stupid blubbering Choji ruined.

Yeah I personally am getting more interested in it as more is shown, I just watched the 3rd episode and clearly Kabuto was after Kurama but I wonder if part of Kurama is still in Naruto or those snakes only took a portion of Kurama's chakra/dna to clone?

It's what Kabuto said in the first ep, those snakes make a perfect dna clone of whoever they touch.

Either case, it's also interesting to see what that little girl Mina saw in her vision. She saw Naruto in a new form (not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read the manga) so maybe this a glimpse into the future? Who knows!

Kurama's still there. The snake-things appeared to be upsetting him at the beginning of the episode, and around the time the parasites were ready to come out, you heard his voice going "Take it." I think he gave the snake-things something so that they would go away. Naruto's DNA+Kyuubi's Power. And that's how Kabuto got himself a kyuubi-mode clone.
