Chikara Arc Questions.

[Itachi Edo]

I stopped watching the anime after the 5 Kage arc and picked back up when Itachi fought Nagato. My question is about this Chikara Power Arc. I saw a AMV with bits of it that looked spectacular, in terms of animation. What I saw was probably the best animation I've seen in a long time for Naruto.

Is this filler arc any good or is it not worth my time? I've got the next two days off from work and planned to watch some of the earlier war arc cannon material. However, this AMV really has me wondering if Chikara is actually good? Is there any truth this was supposed to be the last Naruto Movie until Kishi wrote Road to the Ninja?

Animation was consistent, good arc that runs for five episodes, which practically makes it a movie.
Although there are quite the asspulls and plotholes, you'll enjoy it.

I'm about to check it out then. Always wondered where that clip of Sakura being punched came from. Not too worried about plot holes, because the Naruto movies tend to have a lot of them.

Any other filler arcs that are worth my time? I missed a good bit of the anime if you look at the gap between when I stopped and started back.

Yeah the animation was gorgeous.

Plot holes aside, it's the best filler arc since the one in early Shippuden with the pseudo-nine tails, Sora. Wasn't expecting animation quality to be that consistent for the entire arc.

Chikara was oriignally going to be a movie, but it was scrapped for Road to Ninja. That's why the animation is movie quality.

Its a trap! Actually, it wasn't bad animation, kabutos hair bothered me, and the story was really boring I had no interest in it but watched it because I had nothing better to do. My favorite fillers were the 7 swordsman filler and pakura's.
