I'd say Rasengan because of it's sheer versatility (It has like, a million variations) but it just became repetitive as you couldn't go one fight with Naruto involved that you wouldn't see him use a Rasengan. I like Chidori's base form and it's variants are pretty cool (Chidori Eisō). But in all I have to say Chidori. I've become sick of the amounts of Rasengans that's being thrown around the place.

Chidori because of its versatility. But Rasengan is more deadly IMO.

Kirin isn't a variation of Chidori. Sasuke merely causes a thunderstorm by firing several Katon: Gōryūka at the sky & then directing the natural lightning downwards. It has no similarities what so ever with the Chidori bar the fact that they are both Raiton Ninjutsu.
