Let's be honest, Rasengan is only an S-Rank technique because it's very hard to master.

But let's ignore what is more harder to master, because the real issue is... Which one is more effective?

Rasengan can throw people 50 meters away just by pushing a rasengan against someone's chest or stomach. But can it ever kill someone in a single hit? Sure pain was killed by a rasengan to the stomach but that was because he was worn out. Rasengan can only throw people very far but not kill them.

Chidori can kill a person in one hit. It is more deadly when aimed for the heart. Rasengan can't put holes through things like Chidori can.

First mistake, its not S-rank but A-rank.
Chidori pierces but if it doesn't pierce the heart then it won't put the victim's life at risk.

Rasengan is better and Chidori can only be used to its full potencial with Sharingan.

Rasengan shaves away at the opponent through chakra friction, then unleashes its energy inside the opponent.
Chidori has more piercing ability; it cuts through armor like butter. But doesn't do as much internal damage - it only electrocutes.

Well, when they actually collided it was a draw, wasnt it? And it was always that way. I dunno... IMO they are pretty equal. Although I think that Chidori is somehow more likely to kill its target. For exmaple, I dont think that Obito would be alive now if Minato hit him with Chidori instead of Rasengan.

Rasengan is stronger and more versatile since the amount of chakra, rotation speed, and concentration is all controlled by the user and argumentation to the three bases gives different results.

Please remember that the rasengan is probably censored in the anime from what it really does. Or just not in the right hands to be killing. Naruto doesn't want people dead so he is obviously willing to hold back. We can think of the Rasengan like a big grinder. When used to kill someone it works almost every time.

And in another video Naruto uses two Rasengans, and drills it into one of Pains backs. This would be more of a practical refrance.

Rasengan is strong and will always be of use.
They're only fuuton because that's Naruto's affinity and the only element he mastered, not because of the jutsu itself. The OP is talking about normal rasengan and that one isn't a fuuton.
