Chidori/Raikiri confusion

I don't think so, because even when Sasuke clashed with Naruto at the valley of the end with Chidori, he used his palm

I guess, Kishimoto just draws it how he likes just to fit the panel.

Maybe there is two ways to use it.

Uses his Palm for when he wants to give it more Force, Say when he is clashing it with another Jutsu.

The other he uses his finger tips to improve it's penetration but gives it less force.

Did you guys know Raikiri is just a more focused Chidori that just requires better chakra control. They are the same thing.

It also moves it up to an S-ranked tech.

I think it's been said enough times, Kakashi just has a higher mastery of Chidori. Chidori is a piercing jutsu. Kakashi's is advanced to not only be able to pierce, but also to cut. Now this is base Chidori. While Kakashi focused on increasing the power of Chidori, Sasuke focused on increasing its versatility. So in raw strength Kakashi's is stronger than sasuke's. Sasuke just has more uses for his.
