Why are people still debating this fact, even after the story has been told and clarified. Whatever the previous classification was, there are these things called.....retcons.

Idk if was in the anime only, Deidara called it Lightning Blade. And Sasuke said he prefer the name Chidori.

It's basically the same now because Sasuke didn't care for the other name.

Yes so Kakashi's would be stronger if Sasuke/Kakashi had the same chakra strength and skill. Yes they are.

I don't see any evidence for a retcon especially when it has been posted that Sasuke told Deidara he uses chidori, not Raikiri.

Then since these are both from part one then it's basically talking about part one Sasuke's chakra control and skill :|

In part two I would say Raikiri and chidori are about the same. Especially since both are able to pull off the same advanced shape manipulation

They're similar, but not the same. Raikiri is a more refined version of Chidori, hence why it's an S-Rank technique against Chidori's A-Rank.
