I thought chidori and lightning blade were the same as kakashi has cut a lightning bolt the name was given as lightning blade and as the original user and creator kakashi's chidori was amplified to max both cutting and power wise beyond a lightning.

By hitting her really really hard. You don't need Sage Chakra (whether you mean natural energy or Rikudou chakra) to hurt Kaguya, otherwise Sakura wouldn't have broken her horn/spine.


The OP is missing the most important factor in the comparison. Naruto countered the Chidori with a Rasengan. Kaguya didn't counter the Raikiri at all. Obviously it would do more damage to Kaguya than to Naruto.

OT. Sasuke's Chidori is raikiri he just keeps the name Chidori. And on that scan I think it didn't have piercing properties because Sasuke added enton with it.

Taijutsu works on all Otsutsuki. Ita ninjutsu/genjutsu that gets blocked/negated.

Genjutsu is "blocked" because no one uses it under the impression that it wouldn't work. Ninjutsu is the same, half the time. Kaguya never actually absorbed a single Ninjutsu in the manga, and the ones that hit her definately worked.

Raikiri is just a refined version of Kakashi's original Chidori.

The ones that hit her were Rikudou enhanced. She has the same powers as Juubi Jin but greater normal ninjutsu doesnt work.

And even then she was only hurt by Space Time, Taijutsu, and her resonance with the bijuu.

She wasnt even hurt by Amaterasu or much else

I believe the Chidori & the lightning blade are the same thing. Guy called it a thousand birds because of it's sound. He aways said Chidori when he was training Sasuke. So Sasuke only used what he was showed which is the Chidori but all in all it's a lightning blade of a thousand birds. (Chidori)
