So I was thinking of this jutsu and how peculiar in fact it is. Supposedly, it takes the collaborative power of both Naruto and Sasuke to seal Kaguya but then again it's a jutsu that can only be used by those who have the rinnegan. That being said, if hypothetically Sasuke or Hagoromo were powerful enough on their own, they could have sealed Kaguya again on their own without any help from their counterparts.

Doesn't this sound strange to you? Here we see that comparing in strength Hagoromo and Hamura, the former is vastly superior due to his almighty dojutsu. So, where is equality in all these?

To return to my actual point, I'm more interested in understanding why when Chibaku tensei is executed by Naruto and Sasuke is so much stronger. Could it be that the reason for that is the connection of Yin-Yang? When Sasuke used in this chapter it was nothing compared to the sealing of Kaguya. Could it be that that the direct connection of Yin- Yang causes some kind of of magnetic power between them and that's the reason it becomes so powerful when it is executed like that?

Since they were both needed to perform the seal, it's probably like that. Also, I think Hqagoromo and Haura can't be put in the same box as Hagoromo's sons through generations. Hamura was simply weaker than Hagoromo, in my opinion. The Hyuuga probably inherited the Byakugan in Hagoromo's line catching that gene.

Not only the direct connection between the yin and yang seals. It's the bijuu's chakra inside naruto. That also helps a lot.

Basically two were needed to amplify the power of the seal. Just look at the difference between Nagato, Madara, and Sasuke's CT.

I don't think Hagoromo or Sasuke had the power to do it on their own.

well, the chibaku tensie that the seal did was way different. it not only turned kaguya into the epicenter of the chibaku tensie, but it also took away her chakra.
