Is CB is really as strong as people say? That it takes 3 combined attacks of TBB, Rasenshuriken and Magatama level to destroy it?

We really dont know how tough that black orb is and that 3 way attack by Naruto, Bee and Itachi was just taking advantage of the situation. TBB can definitlely destory CB I dont think Yasaka Magatama can destroy it as Onoki and Gaara was able to BLOCK Madara's Yasaka. The Yasaka didnt explode on impact.

Who do you think can destroy/stop CB alone? I say:
Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Naruto, the 6 other Jinchurriki, Killer Bee, Muu, Onoki

Who do you think can tank/survive CB?
Obito, Madara, Naruto, Kabuto, Sasuke, Itachi?, Minato, Tobirama, Orochimaru, Third Raikage, Sasori, Hidan(of course), Kimimaro

I don't think it is as strong as they say. In the case of Itachi, Naruto, and Bee they all attacked to be on the safe side rather than not destroying it.

Well, clearly the black CT core could survive trillions of tons of pressure being piled on it.

You must be registered for see images

So I'm afraid there needs to be an attack of considerable force to break it.

Also, the stone on the outside effectively acts as a shield to block the core from getting hit.

You're way overestimating Chibaku Tensei. For it to have trillions of tons of pressure it'd have to have over 2000 times the pressure of the bottom of the Marianas Trench

Maybe you're right. Although it still should be millions to billions of tons.

According to estimates Mt Everest weights 357 trillion pounds which translates to 178500000000 tons, which is less than a trillion tons.

But look at how deep the pit is. It's much deeper than the height of those surrounding mountains. And judging by the fact that the crater doesn't seems to curve into a bowl but goes straight down, way beyond our vision can descern, we can say that the amount of land dug out is astronomical. The crater is bigger than the sphere! It's not shaped like a bowl at all. It's more like a paraboloid. That means that the sphere itself is dense. But the size is still actually bigger than all those surrounding mountains combined.

Given the evidence, I have to say that it is possible that the sphere weights more than Mt Everest. But sure, it's kinda hard to gauge just by the picture.

I'll admit, it still might not reach a trillion tons even if it were bigger than everst, because this is Deva path here, not Nagato. Also, Nagato was already completely worn out while controling Deva Path.

However, a prime Nagato's CT, which is on a much higher level, should have a sphere bigger than Everest.

Either ways, regardless of whether its a billion or a trillion tons, you still have to admit that the CT core is incredibly tough if it's able to house mountains on it.

You forgot Kakashi. Kamui handles it.

We can't even see if it is bowl shaped, there is dust covering it. Futhermore even if it is not you're assuming those mountains are even close to the size of the Himalayans. When the could be closer to the Appalachian. In all of your posts you go towards the higher end rather than towards the the median of lower end.

But even so, come on. It houses mountains on it. MOUNTAINS. Thats gotta count for something. Even if they're small mountains, thats still more force than almost anything that the Naruto Universe can provide.

Assuming they are small mountains, there are only 4 techniques that provide more force than the weight of those mountains: PS sword, Punches from the 1000 hand wooden statue, Bijuu Dama, and maybe Madara's meteor attack.

Using the word mountain does not change anything. The smallest mountain on record stands tall at 43 meters.

A rough estimate of the weight of Chibaku Tensei is 135,000,000 tons and I'm being generous here.
Well, according to my estimations, the largest human nuke, the Tsar Bomba, had an output of about 51,600 lbs/ft^2. (I used the Hiroshima bomb as a basis (i.e 8,600 lbs per square feet at ground zero ).

So the most powerful nuke yielded 25.8 tons per square ft.

I'm going to be generous and assume that the CT core has a surface area of 1 foot squared.

Well, using your number, thats 135,000,000 tons of force that the core is withstanding because all that terrain is just pressing down on the core, which is 1ft squared.

So the pressure the core is withstanding is 135,000,000 tons per square ft.

Thats about 5 million times the pressure of the largest nuclear explosion humans ever created.

I didn't account for the fact the core's gravitational pull (>g) actually increases the weight of the terrain.( think about it, on planets with higher gravity, you'd actually weigh more despite having the same mass) Had I done that, the figure would be much higher.

You underestimate just how much pressure mountains can yield.

It's interesting that you think the Chibaku Tensei's core can withstand 135,000,000 tons when the Earth's core only supports 3.6 million tons. I doubt a couple mountains weigh more than the entire Earth. For that to be possible the gravity of Chibaku Tensei has to be almost 38 times earths gravity. From what we've seen that is not the case.

You got your science wrong. Earth's weight is 6.580 sextillion tons according to the World Book of Facts 2003 edition.

CT's gravity has to be significantly greater than the Earths if it can mountains apart. It was to be so much greater, that not only do things start falling upwards, i.e, it overcomes the Earths gravity, but that it also overcomes the tensile forces holding things together.

If CT core's gravity were simply greater than the earths, things would only start falling up, rocks, people etc. But the ground would still stay intact. (imagine just flipping the ground and sky, everything loose would fall, but mountains wouldn't begin falling would they? They are stuck to the ground)

It it were much greater than the Earth's gravity, thats where things start getting torn apart, mountains, the ground, etc.
