Do you cheat on exams/tests?

Do you feel ashamed if you do it?

I do cheat sometimes, ONLY on rare occasions, Especially if I'm stuck on an important part.

Do I feel ashamed? No use crying over spilt milk I guess.

Am I a casual cheater? Nope.

So it's better if ya just open dem books and read and Learn, a far better solution if u don't wanna end up cheating Lawl.

I only cheat on SAC's (70% of the time I don't though).
I just type up the shit I need to know the night before, email it to myself, open the email on my phone, position my phone in my pencil case and just look at the shit. Works like a charm, lol.

But as per your question if I feel ashamed: hell no.

I did used to cheat when I was in school, not always..just when really necessary. Guilt? I would only feel guilty if I didn't.

No not really. I just chose to fail instead if I hadn't prepared. Who cares anyway? Those tests stopped meaning anything long ago.

When the tests were problem solving or essay I never cheated. When the test were just an exercise in memorization I did, because tests like this are stupid. Learning is not done through memorization, but is gained through experience. I didn't need to cheat in college, but in high school I hated some of the tests.

We had tests like name all the countries in Africa or put the events in chronological order. Things like this don't need to be memorized, they can be looked up. Whats more important is a persons ability to critically think and solve problems. Sorry, went off on a rant there. =D

Nah. Never needed to.

I know I could have done better on some tests, but I'll take a B over cheating.

However, I have no judgment on those who cheat. Some people have legitimate reasons of why they aren't able to study.

As for people who are just lazy and cheat to get by, I'll give you my pocket change when I see you.

Sometimes. Though, not with stupid methods like looking at others' exams or hiding a paper or something. I literally copied summaries of my textbook to my calculator. You can't ever get caught. However, this only works with two subjects, Economics & Bussines Management (the latter is actually a subject here). Maths/Physics it was pretty much impossible because you actually had to think instead of stomping texts in your head, and other subjects where you can't use a calculator or a TI Texas calculator it was impossible. That said, I still had to put effort and prepare myself for those two subjects. The cheating method I used only worked with ''theory questions''.

Do I feel guilty? Not really. I would most likely do it again. Why did I do it? To buy myself time, I guess.

Cheating in exams where I am? Impossible lol, though I remember a day where I did use a cheat-sheet that i placed under my bottom before the exam started (half of the cheat sheet didn't have anything to do with the exam, so it' was a fail ) lol xd
I do sometimes feel ashamed, but as punk said (HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT) cheating helps you 90% through college/school, so you shouldn't feel ashamed cuz everyone does it. Lol

Nope, mostly because I retain information very well. There's almost no need to study and therefore even less need to cheat.

However, in the real world people will cheat you out of things all the time. It's how you get to the top, so you might as well get good at it.

tbh I ALWAYS peek at other people's exams... not to cheat but to see how far everyone else is :p

I just like to know if I'm going at a moderate pace or if I have to speed things up a bit.

Cheating is pretty bad but I'm not gunna say I never did it because I would be a fkin lier. Everyone cheated at least once in their lives.

I was just about to say that last part. I felt bad if I didn't cheat, that's why I always sat next to the know-it-alls.

sometimes i cheat, mostly on the unimportent tests but sometimes on importent ones.

and why would you feel ashamed for cheating on a test that only vaguely determine's someones intelligence or knowledge. the tests are meaningless and the score you get is meaningless. just look at all those highschool dropouts who got a nobel prize :D

heres is a living proof, a report card on john gordon by a science teacher from his highschool, he went to win a nobel prize:

The best way I ever cheated on a test was to take the white lining out of a candy bar, write on it, and stick it back in the wrapper on my desk. I'm glad I didn't need to cheat in college though, and was able to make through on my own knowledge.

As a TA now for engineering classes, I'm astonished by the amount of cheating that goes on. It's unreal and I can't believe how bad people are at it. Students will go online and purchase the solution manual to a textbook and then copy the solutions word for word on their homework. When you grade homework this is so easy to spot. Also, and this really amazes me, students will get like 3-4 old copies of a professors test given over the years and completely memorize the problems. Professors in our department don't change their tests that much from year to year, but they need to.
