I personally find this man captivating, all be it he killed what, 6-7 men?
He's truly a spirit that can't be controlled in this society..
What do you think of this man? And does anyone have some information about his youth

oh, this crazy f*cker? man, he was a trouble maker even as a kid. when he was a teen he did shit like assault and burglary and he ended up going to juvie and then jail for years. From like his teen years until i believe he was about 30, when he went out and began creating his "family" (but don't quote me on the ages cuz i haven't studied him in detail in about 5 years).

while in prison, there was what the police called an "incident." Basically, Manson held a blade to a dudes throat while he raped him.
EDIT: this ^ happened while he was in a minimum security institution. he raped the guy a month before he had a parole hearing

and his first incarceration was when he was 17. So from that age to, well, the rest of his life, he spent most of it in jail. But, he had actually been caught doing petty crimes at 13, but they sent him to something Boys School.
He actually was tested with a 121 IQ despite being ILLITERATE. crazy mofo

i think he was in orphanges and juvenile detention most of his youth
even think he was raped in the orphanage
at the time of his trial in california, california passed a law to not do the death penalty
so he to went prison where he grew up at so it wasn't that bad of a punishment since he spent most of his youth there

I think this man might have been a free-thinker like Einstein if he was raised in the right environment and with the right amount of love

I don't think he actually killed anyone, he got his cult followers to kill for him.

If pushed in the right direction, raising him with a legit amount of knowledge, he would have taken it to the next level with his way of thinking.. That's why I called him a potential free-thinker like Einstein

According to society's preferences, yes. But picture him being raised well since birth.. would his 'illness' be the same?

Yup, I think so. In your scenario he would he would have killed his parents when they told him to eat his vegetables.

So was Hitler a 0roduct of his environment also?

How bad does the crime you commit have to be before you go from free thinker to nutjob?

I'm talking about 'what if he got raised well since birth'.
Since I doubt his youth was full of love etc

How many serial killers or sociopaths have you heard of with normal lifes?

He is free from the burden of morality because it was never taught to him, plus add a little drugs into the mix...

As to you hypothetical situation, I think he would have just ended up being a shift manager at the local Walmart.

Highly intelligent, very stupid and very much insane. He's captivating because he's so intelligently dumb. I know that seems strange, but it's true kinda'. xd

Well if you take into account the "what if" scenario, then he could have been someone quite influential. This was evident when he made his cult. Although it was little deaths compared to the amount we see now, it was still quite shocking to see it and know it happens. We can't ascertain that he would have turned out "normal" but he would indeed be quite different. One thing I can say is if he could break the line of morality in this "lifeline" then he would have taken the same venture in another "lifeline". If a person can and does break the boundaries of ones restraints, he would have done so in any situation irregardless of different conditions.
