Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara, Hinata, Minato, Kushina, Kabuto, Itachi

This, but adding on Lee, Nagato, Yahiko, Haku, and Konan

Naruto: Had to grow being hated by all...except Hiruzen, Hinata, and later Iruka.

Sasuke: Family murdered ji brother to protect Sasuke....killed brother in revenge...haha psych!!!!

Gaara: Tough love from daddy....hatred from everyone else for a while.

Minato and Kushina: died to keep their son and village safe.

Haku: Father killed her.....his mother and tried to kill him. Killed his father. Never knew Zabuza truly cared for him. Died almost feeling like he'd failed his purpose.

Kabuto: Grew up living lies...killed his foster mother. Wad lost in copying Orochimaru

Itachi: Had to kill his family because of possible revolution.

Lee: Grew up being picked on for no shinobi talent

Amegakure Trio: Grew up war orphans. Konan and Nagato lost their lover and best friend respectively.

Hinata: Grew up being constantly hated by her own family. Also hated by her relatives for simply being born main branch. Couldn't make progress no matter how much effort she put forth.

Nagato, because he changed through the death of his beloved teammate and friend, and wanted peace despite all he had done. I still feel he had about the saddest past in the series. Obito, for seeing Rin die before his eyes and believing that life would only be worth living with her in it.

OT: Lee understandably, but come on doesn't TenTen have that fan, so maybe Naruto gets it...? He could definitely use it very well, but it would also be cool if he got the staff that the Sage had. If Naruto got the staff, Sasake should get the fan.

I actually feel pity for Zabuza and Haku. That had a relationship like Naruto would later go unto have with Pervy-Sage, but Zabuza only realized the true freedom at his death.

I also feel bad for Kimimaro. Illness and the only one he cared about didn't care much about him.

I agree with you, Kabuto is a character I do pity a decent amount. Same with Kimimaro and Deidara.
Kimimaro was thrown away like trash and died alone...

And Deidara always seemed like a kid on set on the wrong side of life, but a good kid.

1. Sakura- cause her character is under develop and bland

2.Ten Ten- WHO IS TEN TEN?

3.Sai- Irrelevant character and just the "fill in guy"

4.Kiba- always acting like a jack ass

5.Naruto- hung on Sauske to much threw most of the story and Naruto shadowed by Hashirama cause he convenience change sides first. All that work for Naruto down the drain

6.Sasuke- Flip flops all over the place

7.Kakashi- Never won an actual fight

8.Yamato- Forgotten character

9.Lee-Not enough action in the time skip

10,Neji- Not enough action in the time skip

11.Shino- got no development since leaf destruction arc

12.Obito- became a villain cause a girl influence him and survived a rock(that was explained poorly lol)

13.Madara- Madara had potential to be the best villain in Naruto, but instead all he wants is that morning wood

Lee; he should have been stronger with the amount of the hardwork and shit he have gone through, he lost his friend for nothing, not even getting enough screentime, why he is not kicking more ass; didn't Neji die? (I wanted a Neji vs Lee as much as Lee...)

Neji... What Kishi have done to you; dying for a pairing tease moment and an useless timid girl should not have been your destiny. Having a limiting seal, being in the inferior part of the family, losing father at young age; this guy deserved a lot better; ever part of his life is bitter; just like Lee.

Kabuto; deserved a lot better; for more or less similar reasons with the guys above. F*ck sharingan.
