This is a continuation from my last thread. In this part I will be talking about characters who have not been necessarily forgotten but have not received the development that they deserve.
Shino:
It's a canon fact that Shino is ignored by everybody. Naruto couldn't even remember the poor guy at the start of Shippuden, yet he recognised Kiba and Hinata immediately. His mysterious personality makes him all the more interesting to me.
Kiba:
I thought about this one for quite a bit before I decided to include him as well. Kiba has had some form of development since the start of the series but in all honestly his looks may have changed, but his personality still feels exactly the same as it was in Part 1. And now Kishi is making spew out this stuff about being Hokage, which is an insult to his character IMO.
Tenten:
Like Anko, Kishimoto stated that Tenten was his favourite out of all of the Konoha 11 but she has hardly been developed even from Part 1. She didn't even appear to bear a reaction to Neji's death whilst all of the alliance who might I add weren't even on his team bore a more significant reaction.
Neji
He played a part in the rescuing of Gaara early on in Shippuden, but died down afterwards. Neji was the first member out of the Konoha 11 to reach Jonin level, but Kishi didn't even emphasise on that by showing his powers. The friendship and rivalry between Lee and Neji was hardly shown and developed. The flashback between them would have been much more significant had it been shown before. And finally his death was ultimately used as a plot device to get a shy horny pupilless 17 year old girl to finally confess to her crush. And people say Obito is sad, at least he was 14. Just sad.
Lee
And lastly we have the Beautiful Green Beast Rock Lee. His taijutsu only fighting style had so much potential and I loved every single minute of his fights in part 1. He and Gai were the most funniest characters in the series and added light to it, taking away the feelings of the forced relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. But in Part 2 he has hardly shown any improvements or development. I expected him to be even faster with his weights on now, the speed at which he maneuvered against Gaara was incredible. Now lets look at this list:
-Naruto
-Tobirama
-Minato
-Sasuke
-Obito
-Madara
Yep, guess what? All of them trampled all over that feat.
