Shikaku comanded the whole joint shinobi army so hes a 10/10
Sasuke should be there he helped itachi stop edo and killed danzou who would've probably ruined relations for konoha with the other nations so hes a 9/10
Obito/Madara are taking on the whole shinobi world they're both 10/10 too

Why does everyone skip over the lesser characters? Inoichi, Shikaku, and Ao. There are others too but Inoichi let the alliance know where they were going to be attacked from with the help of Ao. Plus he let Shikaku talk to everyone so that he could tell the alliance his strategies. And Kakashi too. Without his strategic thinking they still wouldn't know how to damage Obito. So don't overlook the lesser characters and Kakashi (we all know he's not lesser)

However on the good side its naruto, itachi and possible onoki/tsunade.

People here clearly do not understand itachi's contribution when they only talk of edo tensei.
The whole point of the war was to protect naruto and bee and at one point the war would've been over if nagato indeed succeeded and captured naruto and bee. However itachi saved them. No matter how you look at it, itachi saving naruto and bee was one of the biggest contributions. Not only did he stop what the bad guys were after, saving naruto and bee meant that the jubi couldnt be revived at 100%, but also he has kept the shinobi alliance's secret weapon intact and in the end the plan to defeat the jubi involves around naruto.

As for edo tensei, it was a team effort. Sure there was just a few edo's left, however who said they couldn't do damage. Mu couldve possibly regained his chakra meaning he gains jinton back.

In order I'd say:

1. Naruto (beat down Muu and 3rd Raikage, took down Zetsu)

2. Shikaku (one cannot underplay the strategy....mobilized Ino-Shika-Cho to beat Kinkaku. Mobilized the fifth division to support all the forces adding support to the second division. His anticipation of the war savvy Edo Kages prevented the fourth division from engagement until the second day)

3. Kakashi (without Kamui, Obito would practically have no weakness, he also ended to use of the Hidden Mist Jutsu by taking out Zabuza. Good to note he also saved Naruto with Gai's help).

4. Gaara (without his speech the ASF wouldn't have fought nearly as well....also took down his father and the 2nd Mizukage)

5 or 6. Sakura (look at that! Discovering Zetsu's secret.....due to Zetsu screwing up....allowed for people to plan and organize themselves like Shikamaru did in order to effectively prevent loss of life)

5 or 6. Hinata (She provided defense for Naruto charging up, was willing to take a spike. Effectively brought Naruto from despair into fighting which will provide a neccisary ammount of strength)

7. Killer Bee (ever since escaping Bee has practically played a support role right behind Naruto or to effectively save Naruto when he was falcon kicked by the badass known as Han. Also he recently ranked the TBB like a boss).

8. Shikamaru (headed up the Ino-Shika-Cho to beat Asuma and Kinkaku helped Choji get it in gear. Was able to catch on to what Obito was doing at the coast...sadly he was Gedo stomped....well almost).

9. Choji (after a long period of hesitation, he finally got his wings and turned the tide for the first division at the coast).

10. Itachi (some might not like him as low....but when he ended Edo tensei the only people truly left was Madara, Chiyo, and Kimmimaru...the Jinjuriki were not gone, but effectively restrained. Also, there was a Naruto clone ready to deal with Kimmimaru and Chiyo along with Mifune. Madara wasn't affected to be honest. I honestly was thinking Awww yeah Nice Itachi....oh wait, there's practically no one left -.- that's lame that he saves the day AFTER everyone is toast. Also he effectively stopped Nagato with Bee and Naruto)

Tsuchikage 8/10(same as gaara)
Raikage 6/10(the only powerfull guy he (& all kages) fought was Madara and that was a fail, but still they tried, gets points for leadership)
Mizukage6/10(same as A)
Tsunade 6/10(if she really did heal all kages than 9/10)
Shikaku 7/10(for all of his Strategies)
Kakashi 7(fought swords men, lead some ninjas)
There are abviously alot more like Gai, the guy who created bearer withground to save many people, Raikage's right had man, Choji, Shikamaru, too many to name them. Who do think were the most helpfull so far?

I would give juubi 10/10 for not wiping out the alliance yet

Itachi didn't do nothing much tbh the only edos he stop was Muu,Kimimaro and Chiyo. The only real threat was Madara and...do I need to say more. I guess defeating Kabuto is helpful but he wouldn't have without Sasuke so you should count him if your gonna say Itachi.

How can people not say Itachi is #1?!
Without him Naruto and Bee wouldn't have even made it pass Nagato.
If he didn't end Edo Tensei Madara's Perfect Susano'o would have never ended and the Kages would all DEAD (healing them would be completely out of the question.) The War would've been over a very long time ago.

I know some people may not like Itachi for whatever reason, but people need to learn to give credit where it is due. I dislike Naruto very much but I can't ignore what he's done during the war.

Naruto probably did most.
Shikaku (and rest of HQ) did a lot too
Also Anko and her team did a lot in obtaining information about the enemies movements. Thanks to them Shikaku could create his strategy. So basically, though they all died (dno if Anko is dead tho), they did a lot too.


And those who says Itachi, well Itachi did contribute, but it was not on purpose, it was a mere coincidence that KA was used on himself. So basically what he did, was not for the war, but for Konoha, and he was controlled by KA, though it was himself who set the command.. Dno really, but wouldn't rate him that high. He actually ruined it, by taking out Kabuto, Madara was freed? :shrug:
