You know it's true. I'm not bashing, but Sakura would have been better as a guy. There aren't many male medical nin, so it would make her more unique. And I think we would all agree that she would be less universally hated as a guy.

People don't dislike Sakura for being a girl (at least I don't). People dislike her for her consistently stupid decisions as well as indecisiveness in pivotal, world altering moments.

1. She sets out to kill Sasuke? Gets jittery in the last moment and nearly dies.
2. She sets out to kill Sasuke literally ten minutes later? Gets jittery in the last moment and nearly gets killed.
3. Is outright told the world will end if she doesn't destroy the Rinnegan? Hesitates until it is too late and nearly gets killed.
4. Is told that the being standing before them is unstoppable? Rushes in like an idiot without consulting Naruto / Sasuke and once again nearly gets killed.

The above is just a few of the many Sakura blunders in the manga. Constantly being saved due to her own stupidity, and when she isn't, she is crying (literally shedding tears) about how Sasuke (a guy who had no problem trying to kill her two times in the same ten minute interval) doesn't like her.

Then you have plain stupid moments where she thinks herself to be on Naruto and Sasuke's level, which in of itself is beyond stupid that it warrants hatred.

It has nothing to do with gender, IMO, moreseo than plain bad character development and power progression. If she was handled in the same light she was during the Sasori fight throughout the entire Part II, I doubt people would think so lowly of her.

Do you know how much hentai and sexual jokes would be made if Orochimaru was a woman? There's plenty of them with him being a guy.

Anyway, I think it would be better if Deidera was a woman, he already sort if looked like one and there would be a woman in Akatsuki who was actually independent.
