Minamoto, Keep in mind Konan made one of the most meaningful and crucial statement here. She stated "You are the Darkness" which means that Tobi being Obito makes no sense since he's inevitable in getting TNJ.

In other word We were told that Tobi is the true villain not some another victim just like Pain. Konan death was a waste when she had to die by Obito.
