[Discussion] Chapter Analysis: What You Need To Know

There is a reason I don't read mangapanda.....it sucks.

1-The Gorosei went the extra mile to help Doflamingo. So much so that even Akainu didn't understand. I've always believed that the Gorosei were backing up Doflamingo and broke Caesar out of prison so that he can work on SMILE.

2-The Gorosei mentioned Kuzan's affiliation with the BB pirates which took Akainu by surprise. Even Smoker didn't know of Kuzan's actions and Doffy just heard rumors. This further implies that the Gorosei has ties to the underground.

3-The Gorosei are most upset about Doffy's defeat as it means their ties to the underground has been severed.

4-It is implied that Tsuru set sail after hearing about Doflamingo's defeat. It seems she is going to Dressrosa(with Garp).

5-The Gorosei are still old so no more "Bonney revert to prime" bullshit. I always said that Bonney can only revert from young or old and this chapter supports that, as she went from an old woman to a kid.

6-Urouge is on a Sky Island. This proves that there are numerous ways to get to a Sky island even in the New World so that person who arrived where he is could be anyone but ii may not be someone the Monk Pirates know, as they said "SOMEONE" is here.. The most popular choice is Enel.

7-Capone is NOT an ally of Law. He call the Luffy-Law alliance "friends" as a sarcastic expression and is planning to capture Caesar.

8-The Kidd alliance is going after Shanks but their motive is currently unknown. However, targeting Shanks means making enemies with Luffy and a possible run in with BB. Since I think Apoo will be a BB pirate, it makes thing interesting and as you know, things never go accordingly to plan in OP.

9-Doflamingo killed Drake's dad and he doesn't care ANYMORE but he sounded happy. I said Law and Drake were in an alliance and taking out Doflamingo means getting Kaidou's attention. That island is also Kano Kuni and that shadow is a Chinese-style Buddhist temple because of tall it is. Japanese buddhist temples are more wide.

10-Fujitora and Smoker have shown to have a good relationship and Smoker n' Tashigi are on their way to deliver the kids to Vegapunk. However, Smoker doesn't know that Fujitora is banned from entering a marine base until he captures Luffy and Law, which may piss off Smoker and forec him to take a little detour.

11-Fujitora said "That's exactly what I wanted" when Akainu said he was banned from every marine base until he captures Luffy and Law. Fujitora mostly likely wanted to be banned from marines bases as killing Luffy n' Law completely goes against his morals and justice.

At #3: I'm not sure if I follow. The Gorosei upset with Doffy's defeat? They barely had the spotlight to express their emotions in words, after receiving the news.

I thought they were discussing Doffy abduction from shichbukai.

Long story short , they went straight over yer heads.... by the puppets of the Tenryuubito.
So does that mean Cp-0 answers to the Tenryuubito and only them? Even without the knowledge of the Gorosei?
So does that mean those 'retards' :yeah: actually have people amongst them who are not completely brainless?

just a couple of questions to know your opinion .

#1 - as mentioned in a comment above me, there is a discussion like some people have the upper authority over Gorosei ! that was strange ! do you think it's CP0 ?

#6 - Enel would be awesome surprise to appear there and it's pretty logical. But about the Island ; as i remember the last time we saw Urouge he was near an island full of lightning and then a boat approached them carrying some old women like witches ! Do you think they got damage from those women and they reside on top of the lightning clouds of that island ?

#7 - Did you notice the small panel of Big Mom ship right next to capone ?? my impression was that capone is in alliance with Big Mom and ! notice the candy shape edges on the ship they are on board. I believe Sanji and Co managed to escape from Big Mom ship and now capone is going to go after them.

#8 - man i'm just waiting to see Shanks rekt them hard !!!

The Gorosei are the highest ranking soldiers so to say and CP0 answers to both the tenryubitto and Gorosei, but the tenryubitto's words are more absolute.

6- Probably. That island probably became their base but they forgot/messed their umbrellas and Urouge got screwed. Don't know if the man is Enel or not, but I still believe Enel and Rasputin(Urouge) will meet. Urouge draws reference from 2001: A Space Oddessy.

7- Yes. He could be on the ship with Pekons and Tamago but either way, it seems he is under the protection of Big Mam and it makes sense to me, as I always believed Capone will get involved with her. Big Mam draws reference from Disney villians and Capone looks a lot like the villain from Pocahontas.

8- Don't see them running into each other anytime soon. In fact, it increase the chances of Kidd running into Big Mam to me.

1) that makes sense ! do you think Gorosei themselves are from tenryuubito ?! Or just strong fighters got approved by tenryuubito ?

6) Umbrellas ?! what do you mean by that ? and about the reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey ; do you mean that rectangular black cube in the movie ?

7) Capone has a den den mushi in his hand ! so I figure out if he is talking to the other side of the line. and therefore it means Sanji already managed to escape from them. Also that Reference is interesting !!

8) I hope so ! i like them and don't want them to get destroyed so soon !! and also shanks is only for either Luffy or Blackbeard to fight !

1. No its just the opposite. Akainu said that CP0 bypassed the gorosei and went straight through to the tenryuubito. The gorosei explained to akainu that it wasn't their doing.'

2. It doesn't imply anything other than the the gorosei are well informed. It wasn't even shown that akainu was surprised. Akainu likely knew, the gorosei brought it up to show akainu that the marines are losing face for other reasons too, and akainu tries to wave it off by saying that aokiji isnt a marine so anything aokiji does no longer reflects onto the marines. (even though it probably does)

3. They are upset because the 7 shichibukai are a WG organization. Anytime a shichibukai is defeated it is perceived as a loss for the WG, this is why they covered up crocs defeat too by claiming marines brought him to justice rather than a pirate. If a pirate defeated a shichibukai, it would point out the flaw in the system that fujitora just exposed. The flaw is that the WG are allowing pirates to roam free and aren't actually monitoring them or at least aren't doing anything about it so long as they serve the WG. The main reason the Gorosei are upset is that they have lost face due to fujitora not letting them cover it up.

4. No no no, it is implied she has been chasing the SH's for a time before dressrosa even, probably since smoker saw them. This is on garps orders.

5. It is implied that Bonney escaped the marines somehow, so whatever theory people may have about that has yet to be disproved but I wouldnt say i believe it.

6. Might be enel. but we have known about there being multiple ways to the Sky islands since the skypiea arc. Conis's dad (i think it was him) asked how they got to the sky island and asked if it was some specific route/mountain or something. he was quite surprised when they mentioned the water spout.

9. Has kano kuni ever been mentioned or is that just speculation? Someone on another thread posted a scan on Kinemon and momo being very surprised to hear that doffy was associated with kaido. this shows that they know kaido somehow and they may think highly of him (perhaps he is the guardian of wano like Wb was for the fishman island.) Especially because they shut up real quick and didn't seem to want to let the SH's know too much.

11. i disagree, I think fujitora has his own justice, but I don't think it includes letting pirates go. He used the SH's for their purpose and now he wants to target them. I think he was glad to get the order from akainu. Why have akainu mention Luffy and law only to have fuji not listen anyway. Akainu simply coulda banned him from the bases and left it there if that was odas intention. The face of fuji also makes him seem very scary and it seems like he is about to get serious. Why is it "exactly how he wants it" to be banned from the bases? that doesnt make sense. his words only make sense if he wanted to be given this mission that he can now complete without BS from the WG because he cant return to the marines until he has completed it. Just my opinion but i think its better for the story this way, we will learn more next week.

1 : doffy is a celestial dragon and shichibujai so obviously it will make go gorosei insane ad tey are losing their top three powers easily to rookies alliance.
2 : maybe gorosei has sent cipher pol in underground as pirate to have the Intel their. It makes sense bcoz WG should need Intel on the whole world so that they can maintain peace
3 : doffy was celestial dragon and shichibujai and extremely important broker in underworld so he provides info. To cipher pol about the present situation there and about all the other members who works in underworld.
4 : just where it was shown that tsuru is setting sail bcoz I didn't cought that up but it will definitely not with garp.
5 : bonnet changing her appearance is to protect her identity from marines.
6 : I don't think it will be sky island, maybe just another weird island or maybe urogues power to support on clouds. And yaa that unknown person can be enel.

10: its not only smoker but the whole world don't know about Fuji not returning to base till he kills alliance and by the time smoker comes to light it will be too late.
11 : Fuji believes in pure justice so he left luffy and DD to fight each other and whoever will win, Fuji takes his head out. It is the easiest way to kill pirates present there as there is also a double win on both sides.
