Chapter 8: The Meeting
Team Seven is still training as Naruto finishes his conversation with Kurama.
Naruto (thinking to himself): Well this new guy knows Kurama. I wonder what clan he comes from.
Naruto: Kushina, Neji, Shinamura. Today’s practice is over. We have to guide a mysterious person to the Hokage because apparently he is old friends with Kurama.
All three genin react with various looks of surprise and before they could reply, coherently a mysterious young kid comes enters the clearing.
????: I see so your Kurama's Jinchuuriki, well that solves the issue of our meeting. This is quite a twist; You’re an Uzumaki! As for how I know that I would rather keep that a secret for now.
Suddenly the scene changes and everyone is in the chamber where Kurama is.
Naruto: You are not allowed to do this Kurama to anyone one who the Hokage does not allow.
Kurama: He can just shut up. I do not obey him the way you do. Besides I trust him a whole lot more than the Hokage. Besides I remembered what his name is.
Naruto: Really.
Kurama: (In a rather happy voice) Well Hiruko it has definitely been a long time.
Hiruko: Yes it has been. So how have you been Kurama? Last time I saw you, were sad about what was about to occur.
Kurama: (In a joking tone) Oh shut up. I have been well.
Hiruko: Well I guess you still have the will power to resist the hatred you sense.
Kurama: (In a more serious tone) Actual I did turn evil because of that ability, but Naruto here saved me from it.
Hiruko: Well he defiantly has a similar seal inside him just like I used to have before I trapped my Bijuu in a temple.
Naruto: Wait, why did not you just keep it near you and prevent it from going wild?
Hiruko: Simple because the moment he awoke he would have killed me.
Kushina: How could the Bijuu escape your seal anyway?
Hiruko: It didn't, Obito did. When he awakened the Juubi he broke the seal I placed on the wolf inside the temple.
Shinamura: Exactly how powerful is your Bijuu?
Hiruko: Not that I want to keep you in the dark but we have to keep moving or some of my Bijuus minions are bound to attack us.
Neji: You still have to explain to us how powerful the Bijuu is.
Hiruko: Very well but just remember you may not believe me.
Neji: Very well
The conversation ends and they all are back at the training field. They all go towards the Hokage mansion to introduce him to Hiruko. Once they get to the Mansion they see a team of ANBU leaving for a mission. As they enter the Hokage's office the Hokage looks up from the stack of papers he was looking at.
Hokage: Who is this person you brought with you Naruto?
Before Naruto can respond Kurama interrupts and brings everyone back into the chamber where he is sealed.
Kurama: This is my old friend Hiruko. He was my friend back when the Sage of Sixth Paths still walked the earth. He survived to this day for reasons I rather not talk about/
Hokage: Very well. Do you happen to know which clan he is from?
Kurama: I do, properly speaking he is a clan mate of Naruto's.
Hokage: What do you mean by that?
Shinamura: Well I think it means he is from the Uzumaki clan.
Kurama: You would be correct.
