This takes places the day after the events of chapter 700. I used script-style and very simple writing so that any and everyone could read and comprehend it. Not everyone is a bookworm like a lot of us. Let me know if you want a part two. Enjoy!
Aburame-sensei: ...And that concludes today's lesson.
Bolt: Alllrrrigghhhttt! *Punches the air with his fists*
The sound of supplies being stuffed into backpacks and students' chatter filled the classroom. Bolt was about to be the first one out of the door, but the teacher stopped him, as well as the other students in their tracks...
Aburame-sensei: Just wait a second, kids. Take your seats. I almost forgot something.
From a chore in his podium, Aburame-sensei pulled out a thick stack of papers.
Aburame-sensei: Inojin, give everyone, including yourself, a packet.
Inojin: *pouts* Okay, sensei...
Sour expressions were on nearly every student's face. Salada was the only one unnerved by the sudden and unexpected announcement. When it came to her attitude, the more assignments, the better. She was the Academy's best student.
Shikadai: What a drag...
Once it was Bolt's turn to receive the hefty packet from Inojin, he crossed his little arms over his chest.
Bolt: No way I'm taking that! Aburame-sensei, what's with the extra homework?!
Aburame: Bolt, you're the reason for it. Did you really think I'd let that antic you pulled yesterday slide?
Bolt was at a lost for words. He quickly searched his mind for an excuse to make, but to no prevail. The teacher had heard all of his excuses before.
Shikadai: But, sensei, why do the rest of us have to be punished for his idiocy?
Aburame-sensei: None of you put in a good effort to keep Bolt from pulling off a prank on the day of the Summit. He'd clearly announced his intent to do one, but the only challenge he got was a scolding from you, Shikadai. Hopefully, you'll all learn to stand up for what's right and intervene whenever possible.
Chouchou: Sensei, Bolt's too hard-headed to ever listen to any of us though!
Aburame-sensei: He's your classmate. You all must work on bettering each other, regardless of your differences...Now, you're dismissed.
Bolt was the last to leave this time. He didn't want to feel everyone's glares on the back of his head. He walked with a pout on his face, his hands in his pocket, and his head down in shame and embarrassment. The very instant Bolt stepped out of the Academy's main building, a materialized shadow wrapped itself around one of his ankles and tossed him up onto the roof. Bolt landed flat on his rear-end. He painfully rose to his feet. His vision was blurry and unclear from dizziness.
Bolt: Owww... *rubs butt*
At first, all Bolt managed to see was three figures standing in front of him. Once his vision cleared, he saw the angry face of Shikadai. Inojin and Chouchou were on either side of him, but their emotions seemed indifferent and not as intense.
Bolt: What the—?
Inojin: I'm not so mad at you, Bolt, but Shikadai threatened to miss the next Ino-Shika-Cho training session again if I didn't tag along.
Chouchou: And he promised to take me to the dango shop afterwards.
Shikadai: It'd probably be too much of a drag to face you by myself. I can beat some sense into you much quicker with these two with me.
Bolt: Shikadai, my dad already knocked some sense into me for what I did. But if it's a fight you want, I won't back down, ya know? Dattebasa!
