Chapter 7 from Naruto gaiden does not prove who the mother of Sarada is.
Suigetsu compares unknown DNA (he thinks it is Karin's) with DNA of Sarada.
So the only thing the chapter proved is that the DNA that Suigetsu tested, matched with Sarada her DNA.
Suigetsu is a bit of a comical character so him making a mistake wouldnt be surprising.
It is still unsure who's DNA Suigetsu used.
Sasuke his DNA?
Karin collected lot of stuff from Sasuke so this wouldnt be weird.
Karin her DNA?Sakura her DNA?
All possible.
Although in the chapter Karin said that desk is a part of me (and we have to work with a translation), which could be interpreted by Suigetsu as in, that there is DNA from Karin in that desk. Maybe she said in that desk is a part of me (as in stuff that is private). So there could just as well be material with Sasuke DNA in there.
Maybe Karin has carried Sasuke and Sakura her child and she kept the umbilical cord.
I read someone saying that it was said it was a umbilical cord but I havent seen that translation yet. If someone has it please share.
It could even have been Sarada's own DNA.
My point being.
The chapter hasnt proven that Karin is the mother or that Sakura isnt the mother.
Kishi is good at messing with the readers their mind. I wouldnt be surprised if this is just Kishi messing with the readers their mind.
Maybe even Shin's dna plays a part in this.
Also we get to read more about parents and children and how much the bond is about genes or not.
The topic who is Sarada's mother is not done yet I think,
so my suggestion is lets not jump to quick to conclusions.
