Madara doesn't have true hate like Sasuke...purple or even black is hate...blue is nothing, Its my fav color, but has no meaning.
Madara is a none factor.

The last two major instances of Susano'o and the Kyuubi (not saying that what this creature is), being together, they have been complimentary. First when Madara used it in his fight his Hashi, the kyuubi was orange and his Sus was blue. Recently when Sasuke teamed up with Naruto and did the same, it was purple and yellow. So I followed this scheme and decided to make these two complimentary once again. With the bijuu thing being redish-orange, and the Susano'o being blue-green.

I think green fits, in any case. It's one of the nobler, more dramatic colors that hasn't already been taken by another Susano'o. The "Jade" color really fits the ancient-Eastern-mythology vibe.
