One Piece Fans !

Aohige_AP got news from his source that spoilers for the next chapter (Jump Issue 39) will be out tonight. Which means: CHRISTMAS CHAPTER !

Well that is the good news, the bad news is. Jump Issue 40-43 will have NO ! One piece. Besides that Jump will be on a one week break in the Golden Week (week of Christmas and new year) So that means. After this chapter we will have no One Piece Chapter for four weeks

It's been rumored this also due to One Piece Movie 11 which is under Oda's supervision again just like Strong World ! (announced on Jump Festa '11).

So the good news is Christmas chapter + Oda executive producer for movie 11 (first movie in New World)

Bad news is 4 weeks without chapter.

T made a couple of phone calls, and spoiler will likely come a day early, due to next issue of Jump coming to shelves early (Saturday release instead of Monday)
So expect a spoiler either late tonight, or early morning.

Well, clearly spoilers aren't out yet, like they were by this time the previous two years. Shocker.

"BUT YOU SAID!" As I said, we shouldn't be getting a chapter this week, but generally speaking we usually do because of what I can only assume are holiday factory hours in Japan for printing JUMP. Obviously nobody knows exactly when spoilers will surface, so rather than focus on when spoilers normally come out or might come out, I'll instead focus on when Japan gets them. Oh, and another thing, for those of you who are new or don't know me, you'd do well to never take my flavorful comments too seriously; try and have a sense of humor about all of this. So anway, JUMP's actual release date in Japan (to the best of my knowledge):

January 16th, 2012 (Tuesday) Issue 6 - Chapter 652
January 2nd, 2011 (Thursday) Issue 4/5 - Chapter 651 w/ Color Spread -- Double issue; no issue the following week (the 9th)
December 19th, 2011 (Tuesday) Issue 2/3 - Chapter 650 -- Double issue; no issue the following week (the 26th)
December 12th, 2011 (Tuesday) Issue 1 - Chapter 649

Another month without a chapter? I can't live with that. Then again, the next issue would come out January 8 so that can't be true.

Oda is NOT writing for Movie 11. He's executive producer, which means he only has the final say for just about everything. He's not writing.

A month without One Piece? Wouldn't that be too big of a waste for Shonen Jump considering how good One Piece is selling? That's also a spit on the face of fans. I am fine with Oda taking 2 or maybe even 3 weeks brake to rest and get some ideas for manga but a whole month is too much.

Not sure what the planning of Naruto and Bleach is exactly. I THINK both will be in this edition as well. And both will be on a break in the golden week obviously. Not sure how Kubo and Kishimoto are going to fill the first weeks of the new year.

Oda is working his ass of for the last 11 years. It's been One Piece day in day out. Give the guy some rest once in a while. There are plenth of manga who only publish once a month. He needs to come up with new ideas and has to develop new charachters. If he rushes we only will end up with a dull story. Besides it's x-mas and let him have some time with his wife instead of sweating over one piece.

Take note we're getting our illegal scans a full week earlier than the Japanese mainland. For us it's a month. For them it's 3 weeks. Big difference.

This will most likely be a fairly long chapter than, which should be the final chapter in fishman island, since it would seem rather dull if Oda goes on a 4 week break and comes back and we're still on Fishman island. I'm guessing after the break he'll finally introduce us to the new world
