Chapter 642: The Ultimate Defense
Naruto: We did it!
Sasuke: ....
Tobirama: Not quite...
Obito: Hehehehe.... (begins absorbing the black flames burning him)
Naruto: Damn, I forgot! His Rinnegan can absorb ninjutsu!
Obito: I told you, such meager attacks are useless against me!
(Naruto and Sasuke charge at Obito with Kunai in their hands, and Tobirama, who is still next to Obito, tries to stab him)
Obito: Shinra tensei!
(Sasuke, Naruto and Tobirama get sent flying)
Minato: He can protect himself with that weird black substance, absorb ninjutsu, and repel anything?
Sasuke: Is he invincible?
Naruto: There should be a five-second interval between each use of that repulsion jutsu though.
(Kyuubi takes over Naruto)
Kyuubi: That's the Sage of the Six Paths' ultimate defense.
Sasuke: Naruto's voice!
Minato: I see... he befriended the Nine-Tails and allowed it to take over. Just listen.
(Obito teleports in front of Minato, Sasuke and Naruto)
Sasuke: ...!
(lances form from three of the spheres around Obito, and begin moving towards Minato, Sasuke and Naruto. Minato touches Sasuke and Naruto and the three teleport to Tobirama, just before the lances hit them)
Kyuubi: It is said that ever since he became the Juubi's Jinchuuriki, the Sage of the Six Paths never got hurt. That defense is practically flawless.
Minato: And on top of all that, Obito can make himself intangible and he has that space-time jutsu... is he invincible?
Sasuke: Just how powerful is this guy?
Kyuubi: He's like a new Sage of the Six Paths... he's easily stronger than Hashirama and Madara combined. Much stronger, in fact. In all honesty, I don't think we have a chance...
Naruto (in his subconscious with the Kyuubi): I'm not giving up!
(scene switches to Madara vs Hashirama)
Hashirama: (takes a look at the Obito vs Tobirama, Minato, Naruto and Sasuke fight) Damn, I need to help them...
(Susanoo swings a sword, which the wooden dragon dodges)
Madara: I'm your opponent, Hashirama.
Hashirama: .... Wood release, Giant Wooden Restraints!
(Enormous branches come out of the ground and wrap around the Susanoo's arms and legs, attempting to restrain it)
Madara: Hmph. (Equally enormous branches come out of the ground and restrain the wooden dragon)
Hashirama: Damn... you can use Mokuton too?
Madara: Of course. I took your DNA in that fight. (points to his Rinnegan) How do you think I awakened these eyes?
(Hashirama jumps off his wooden dragon towards Madara, and begins forming handseals)
Madara: Shinra Tensei!
(Hashirama is sent flying back, and hits the head of his wooden dragon)
(scene switches to Obito vs Naruto, Sasuke, Minato and Tobirama)
Naruto: Damn, we can barely touch that guy. How the hell are we gonna beat him?
Tobirama: His defense really is practically flawless....
Minato: (three Kunai in each hand) I guess it's time for me to use Rasen Senkou Chourinbukou Sanshiki.
Naruto: We did it!
Sasuke: ....
