Chapter 638

Obito: Katon: Bakufuu Ranbu!

Kakashi: Water release! Water wall!

(the two techniques clash, creating smoke)

(smoke clears)

Kakashi: (charges towards Obito with a Raikiri pointed at his face)

Obito: How foolish. Shinra tensei!

(Kakashi is sent flying away)

Kakashi: (throws a Kunai coated with Raikiri at Obito's face) That technique has a 5 second cooldown. He can't use it to repel this.

Obito: (dodges the Kunai) Is that all you've got? Pathetic.

Kakashi: (Charges towards Obito with a Kunai coated in Raikiri)

Obito: Shinra tensei!

(Kakashi hits the floor and disappears)

Obito: A clone!?

Kakashi (from behind Obito): I have you now! (throws a Kunai coated in Raikiri)

Obito: Wood release! Wood wall! (A giant wall of wood appears behind Obito. The kunai is only able to cut halfway through it before being stopped in its tracks.)

Kakashi: There's no way he saw that... how did he...?

(a green Chameleon with Rinnegan eyes appears)

Kakashi: Wait a minute... when did he summon that? (remembers his water release and Obito's fire release clashing and the resulting smoke) So that's when he did it... but how did he block my attack without seeing it? Wait... didn't the Six Paths of Pain have shared vision? Maybe Rinnegan users share vision with their summons as well...

Obito: I told you, you can't beat me! It's time to end this fight. Bansho Tenin! (punches Kakashi) Wood release! Cutting technique!

(Kakashi is pierced by a bunch of branches and falls to the ground)

Kakashi: I guess I can't beat him. I guess he really is too powerful...



Chapter 639

(scene switches to the battlefield)

(Sasuke and Naruto are fighting a bunch of Ten-Tails clones)

Madara: It's hopeless. Any minute now, the Ten-Tails will enter its final form, and this world will end!

(Hashirama clone appears in front of Madara)

Madara: Another clone?

Hashirama clone: Why are you doing this? What the hell are you planning?

Madara: I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you...

(scene switches to the Kamui dimension)

Obito: Soon, this pathetic reality will end, and be replaced by the infinite Tsukuyomi!

Kakashi: Obito, Madara is using you! Can't you see that?

Obito: Of course I can. Or rather, he's trying to use me.

(scene switches to the battlefield)

Hashirama clone: Infinite Tsukuyomi, huh?

Madara: ...

Hashirama clone: Somehow, I doubt that anything he said about his plan is true... anyways, whatever he's planning, it can't be good. I have to stop him!

(scene switches to the Kamui dimension)

Kakashi: Obito... you may have won this fight, but you won't win the war!

Obito: (remembering what Madara told him about needing both eyes to awaken the Sharingan's true power) Enough talk. It's time for me to take back that little gift I gave you.


Chapter 640

Naruto: Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! (dozens of clones appear, all in KCM and with Rashenshurikens in their hands)

(The clones all throw Rashenshurikens at the Ten-Tails, but the Ten-Tails is unaffected)

(Sasuke's Susanoo fires multiple arrows encased in Amaterasu flames in quick succession. Multiple parts of the Ten-Tails start burning with Amaterasu fire, but the Ten-Tails separates those parts from itself quickly)

Sasuke: Damn... how do we defeat that thing?

(Ten-Tails clones surround Naruto and Sasuke)

Sasuke: Aoda!

Aoda: Right! (Swipes its tail, knocking back a bunch of Ten-Tails clones)

(Susanoo fires an arrow that pierces a bunch of clones in a line)

Naruto: Wind Release: Rasenshuriken! (A bunch of Ten-Tails clones are killed)

(a bunch of Ten-Tails clones appear to replace the ones that were just killed)

Sasuke: Damn, these things are endless...

Naruto: Yeah... at this rate....

(scene switches to Obito's hideout)

(Obito teleports to the hideout)

(Panel with a close-up on Obito's face, now with two Mangekyou)

Obito: Now, to take care of some business...


Chapter 641

(Three Zetsus appear)

All three Zetsus: Tobi!

(A black Susanoo ribcage appears around Obito. Two arms also appear, which grab two of the Zetsus and crush them)

Third Zetsu: T... Tobi? W... what's going on?

Obito: Kamui!

Third Zetsu: AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! (head disappears)

(Susanoo disappears)

Obito: (evil grin) I'm liking these new powers. Now then...

(scene switches to the battlefield)

Madara: Looks like Hashirama's putting a little more focus into this clone... (Susanoo takes a swipe at Hashirama with its sword, but Hashirama dodges)

Hashirama clone: Wood release: wooden spikes!

(wooden spikes appear under Madara)

Madara: (jumps away from the spikes) It'll take a lot more than that to stop me.

Hashirama clone: Wood release: wooden prison!!

(Madara is encased in a giant block of wood. The Hashirama clone throws a Kunai with a sealing tag attached to it at the block)

Madara: Shinra tensei!

(the wooden block is blown apart)

(scene switches to Obito's lab)

(Obito walks through a wall into a room with two giant jars)

Obito: It took some time, but I've managed to recreate your eyes...

(panel with a close up on the two jars, each containing an eye with Shisui's Mangekyou)

Chapter 642

(Naruto and Sasuke are fighitng a bunch of Juubi clones. As soon as one dies, another is there to replace it)

Sasuke: Damn... we'll never get to that thing...

Naruto: ...

Madara: It's hopeless. You lot will never stop the Juubi.

Hashirama clone: We'll see about that. Wood release: wooden needles!

(A bunch of needles appear out of nowhere and are fired towards Madara. They all bounce harmlessly off his Susanoo ribcage)

Madara: Pathetic. Fire release: Great Fire Annihilation!

Hashirama clone: Water release: water wall!

(the water wall blocks Madara's fire release technique, turning it into smoke)

Madara: Shinra Tensei!

(The Hashirama clone is sent flying away, however, it encases itself in a block of wood. The block of wood is smashed into pieces as soon as it hits the ground, but the clone emerges unharmed)

Madara: He's trying to stall me... Enough of this. Bansho Tenin!

(The Hashirama clone is pulled towards Madara, who stabs it with a Susanoo sword, causing it turn into a lump of wood)

Madara: Where the hell is that Obito brat?

???: Right here

(Obito warps in to the battlefield. A panel shows a close up of Obito's face, which contains his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, a combination of his and Shisui's eyes. Obito's face also has an evil grin on it.)

Chapter 643

Madara: Time to revive me. (forms a seal with one hand)

(the right side of Obito begins turning black, but this stops abruptly)

Madara: WHAT?!

Obito: You can't control me, you traitorous bastard.

Madara: I see... he must be using that technique of his to transport his right side to his dimension to prevent me from controlling him. Cheeky little brat... Remember, you'll still need to revive me for the plan to work.

Obito: That's what you think. Of course. But remember, you also need me. I will revive you, but it will be on my own terms.

Madara: ...

Obito: ...

Obito/Madara: I still have some use for him (each referring to the other)

Naruto: It's that Obito bastard! OI! Where the hell is Kakashi?

Obito: You want him? Here.

(Obito uses Kamui to warp in a half dead Kakashi, and throws him at a Naruto clone outside the barrier)

Naruto clone: Kakashi-sensei! (close up of Kakashi's face, which only has one eye. The area where Kakashi's left eye should be is bloody) Your eye! Did that bastard take it?!

Kakashi: Naruto...

Naruto clone: MEDICAL TEAM!!!!!!

Kakashi: It's no use, Naruto... I'm done...

(panels of Naruto and his clone crying)

Minato: (squinting) Wait a minute... is that... Kakashi? And... Obito? (remembers the masked man who attacked the village 16 years ago) He must have been that masked man who attacked the village 16 years ago! But... why?

(A clone of Minato appears in front of Obito, and another appears next to Naruto and Kakashi)

Obito: Minato-sensei.

Minato: You were that masked guy who attacked the village with the Kyuubi, weren't you Obito?

Obito: And what if I was?

Minato: Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine... How? Why, Obito? Why?

Obito: (uses Kamui to fire a bunch of Kunai at Minato's clone)

(Minato dodges all the Kunai and throws one of his own at Obito)

(Obito recalls the end of his previous fight with Minato)

Obito: If I phase through it, the outcome will be the same as last time... if I use Kamui to warp the Kunai away, he'll be able to teleport to the other dimension.... in that case...

(A Susanoo ribcage appears around Obito, blocking Minato's kunai)

Obito: (evil grin) Sensei, you beat me last time. It won't happen again.

Chapter 644
(Naruto clone appears in front of Obito, next to Minato's clone)

Naruto clone: YOU BASTARD!!!!!!

Minato: Naruto, wait!

(Naruto charges at Obito with a Rasengan, which doesn't even dent the Susano ribcage. A Susanoo arm appears and takes a swipe at the Naruto clone, knocking him back)

Obito: Pathetic.

Minato: Why are you doing this?

Obito: This world is hopeless. So, I will change it by putting it under a genjutsu. A world with no war and no hatred. Only peace.

(close up panel on Naruto, who has tears and a look of fury on his face)

Naruto: Cut the crap, you ****ing bastard! (tenses and gets ready to charge)

Minato: Naruto, calm down!

Naruto: He killed my parents! He killed Neji! And now he's killed Kakashi-sensei as well! (charges at Obito with a Rasengan in both hands) I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!

(scene switches to where Kakashi is dying)
Kakashi: Susanoo? It looks like Sasuke's... looks like he's fighting on our side. Looks like he came back. (coughs)

Naruto clone: Kakashi sensei!

Minato clone: Kakashi!

Kakashi: Naruto, listen to me...

(scene switches to Naruto and Minato vs Obito)

(The Naruto clone's two Rasengan hit Obito's Susanoo. This time, a crack forms, but the Susanoo once again swats the Naruto clone away with a swipe of its arm)

Obito: I suppose it's time I got serious.

(Obito's eyes begin transforming)

(Final panel: close-up on Obito's face, with his eyes now containing the Rinnegan)
