The possibility of Madara possessing Amaterasu has yet to be confirmed as the narration of the battle jumped to the final moments after Kurama was sealed, we have yet to see what Madara's full capabilities with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan are, the same can be said for Hashirama's Sage Mode, like when Hashirama was narrating the former friend's initial battles before the foundation of Konoha; we really only saw glimpses, I am sure this was done on purpose as Kishimoto gave us enough to wet our tongues, but did not want their second battle to be stale & will reveal what they are truly capable of when they face each other in the War, so we will have to wait & see if Madara possesses Amaterasu before we can end that debate.shodaimeicon:
