Madara said he had 4 brothers.
This doesn't mean that they all are dead, it simply means that at least one of them is dead. He may have 1,2 or maybe 3 brothers still alive.

People are really misunderstanding what he said.

Anyway Izuna might be the only brother of Madara who survived, I mean I never mentioned the exact number of brothers he has now. I just said that one of them is dead for sure, more of them may be dead too

Izuna was probably the only remaining sibling. But madaras view was that it was a reality that shinobi might be killed even if they were only still just kids. Was interesting to see that hashirama and tobirama had another brother... poor kid wasnt cut out for the battlefield U_U U_U U_U

Even if they haven't died now, I think that the only one who survives for quite some time is Izuna. Or maybe the other brother was just so pathetic that Madara didn't care about him so he didn't mention him.

well, that is probably true, however it's almost certain that the only one who survived out of the 5 to adulthood was izuna and he died as well. so i guess madara's the last of his family unless he had children.

Izuna being the youngest brother made Madara feel like he had to protect him = which he did with his life and they trained together constantly etc.. much like older brother Itachi felt for Sasuke..

Those older brothers aren't important to the story as they probably died during this time when Madara talks about them..

For the same reason the Hashirama's other siblings* weren't mentioned. They weren't important to the story just yet.

*I've forgotten if it said he had more brothers other than Tobirama and that other kid.
