Basically, Tengu represent Susano'o, and this specific Tengu, Sōjōbō, resides on Mount Kurama: resting on top of the mountain. Chapter 621 may depicted Madara Uchiha's Susano'o resting on the Kyūbi or a different version of Susano'o harnessing the Kyūbi's powers.

Regarding Hashirama Senju, the sequences, as I stated before will have him summon something, though bearing Kishimoto's use of myths, you can be certain it is either an statue-like summon or a summoning working individuals.
