This chapter was amazing.
The lack of dialogue really made it deep and emotional, i've never felt so interested like this. I bet it will be amazing in the anime as well, with awesome soundtracks on top.
Now i'm going to tell people, calm down, there's no reason to be angry. It's kishi manga and he can do whatever he wants.
And honestly, Obito is the best choice imho.
Kagami? No one knows him.
Izuna? Would be interesting but then why Madara would lie?
Shisui? Would make the entire crow/KA subplot feel pointless him. Why would he help Itachi and protect Konoha... Just to attack it later?
Future Sasuke? All we need now is timetraveling ninjas yeah really.
Ramen Guy? Would be amazing... If this was a parody.
In this chapter you really can feel Obito, i mean poor guy was always throught to be a loser.
He' doesn't become Chuunin, Kakashi does. So he works his ass off, becomes Chuunin, and nobody cares because Kakashi became Jonin.
He can only watch while his girl looks enthusiasted at another man, and even when he actually thinks he gets a date with his love, it was just to give Kakashi a present. (this was funny)
And after his "death", he lost everything, i mean, his girl probably would have married Kakashi, his face was scarred for life and no girl would have taken interest in him, plus Kakashi became a hero because of his eye, and Rin died anyway! Tell me you can't feel bad for the poor guy.
I think it will be really interesting to see how Kishi pulls everything together to make the story fit. Instead if it was another guy everyone would just be like "who?!" and the story would really be predictable.
Also kishi was really good with the reverse psychology, he made a lot of effort to sway people away from the Tobito theories, by creating unexplained plot holes, and then he showed the wrinkled face to make us think he was an old man... Not to mention all the Madara impostor crap.
Also, Just noticed Obito orange mask swirly pattern is on the wrinkled side of his face. That's a really nice touch.
Can't wait for the 599 chapter anime episode.
