Ok so I know lots of people saw millions of plot holes in the last chapter and didn't quite understand it well.
Personally it did have some few problems but overall a good chapter. I am going to try and explain this chapter in full detail maybe then some people may be able to look at it different understand it more etc. That is my true goal.
Ok lets begin
This page doesn't really show much other than obito being late for the Academy entrance.
Alright here he realizes that everyone is already here and he's late and didn't have a chance to sign up. Then Rin hands him a form and he becomes happy again.
Ok now here is where it gets tricky. Most people overlook this but infact there was a Time skip. Because obviously you can't immediately have a chunin exam as soon as you join the academy.
This chapter shows how its nearly time for Kakashi's team's battle and Obito is late because he is helping a woman carry groceries. He eventually arrives and Kakashi is mad at him for being late.
Alright this basically shows the first sign of Obito's love for Rin as he feels the need to impress her by acting solo. Surprising Kakashi and Rin. Most people didn't realize this but the reason the jutsu didnt work is because he choked on the candy the woman gave him.
Guy then proceeds to kick the candy right out of his mouth. It cuts to a scene where Rin is patching up Obito and Obito is signifying that he is a Uchia.
This one basically says (if it had dialogue) "I'm an Uchia and i will become Hokage.
First unexplained Plot Hole.
Kishi messed up either in kakashi's gaiden or in this chapter but remember everyone makes mistakes so come on. let's just let this one slide i doubt it has any relevance to the story.
This chapter basically shows Obito training to become stronger after losing to Guy at the 2nd part of the Chunin exam.
The 3rd part of the Chunin exams (and kind of exactly like it was when Naruto and the other's were doing it) Is the individual matches where Guy and Obito fight once more and again Obito has his a$$ handed to him.
Ahh. The first hint of rivalry at Kakashi as Obito notices Rin cheering him on. He feels mostly self-pity that he couldn't stand his own against Guy and Kakashi could.
So Kakashi beats Guy and becomes a Chunin at age six. (please don't say he doesn't look like 6 because look can be deceiving). He then basically shows his team that he was promoted and it ends with Obito basically training to become stronger.
Notice again that there was a Time skip here as Obito continued training and eventually became a Chunin (which by data book reference took him 5 years to do). It continues with Rin telling him to meet her by a certain tree and Obito believes it to be something romantic so he brings flowers in a desperate attempt to awe Rin.
He sees Rin approaching and decides to hide the flower's to be semi-romantic.
Then he notices Guy and Kurenai and the others circling him also and becomes surprised. Rin then hands him paper which reveals Kakashi's promotion to Jounin.
Basically the initial Obito flash back stopped and on this page Kakashi is having a flash back on His entire team. Then it shows everyone stuck in awe gazing at Tobi.
Who is then Revealed to be Obito behind the mask...
I hoped i helped in anyway to understand the chapter more for anyone.
