“I’ll point them out when we get to the stadium ok.” Said Alex. Everything was alright after the nightmare. Steve and adam walked behind the group as the camera was recording them. When alex had woke up she was shaking with fear, but now she was smiling and showing bravery. Mimi held onto her guitar, Raine swung hers on her back, Sindy held her drumsticks in her hands as alex walked, empty handed.
“ok girls lets go.” Said alex as they walked into the stadium. The room was full of band people and the judges soon came out.
“Ok the girl with the long red hair is sierra. She is a kindhearted woman but is very picky about the music and how the song goes. The man wearing the glasses and hat is Charles. He is very easy to pass by but when he knows talent, he leans forward taking his hat off. The last judge that is bald is simon. Simon is a critic to everyone. He is very strict We will have to try our hardest to pass him.” Alex smiled. Suddenly she went to walk down the steps to the stage to go behind but slipped.
“Alex!” yelled both steve and adam. Before they could move someone had already wrapped their arms around her waist and had ahold of the railing. Looking back it was alexander.
“Let go of me. Now.” Growled alex. She stood up and looked at him.
“What don’t like the fact a guy saved you?”
“I will not face the fact that you are the one who picked the fight in the first place.” Alex said. Steve and adam stood infront of her to keep them from a distance. Soon the judges had called name.
“Locked hearts! If no one comes up then we will call up the last group.”
“Come on alexander, it’s our turn. We will pass them.” Said kaito. The guys walked by and steve placed his hand on my shoulder. As we sat there and watched, alexander and them started to play. The feeling of the music was powerful to even where I wonder if I misjudged them. I watched alexander and as he looked at me, I glanced away. As they finished, I started to cough. Instantly, I knew that I was scared. Not of fear but that I may not win. As we went up, my group went to their instruments and placements.
“What? You scared that you may lose?” said willy. Alex was standing next to her brothers as the group began to play. The music they played was soft but started to intensify. She ran out from the west wing and did a front 360 degree spin flip landing on her feet. Alex began to sing to her heart’s content as her brother adam was filming. Steve glanced at the band as they seem mesmerized by the talent the girls showed.
“Strange. She seems so distant with everyone except you guys and her band mates but once the music starts, a whole new personality is shown. How is that possible?” said alexander as he watched alex dance and sing using the stage as her floor.
“Because alex is not doing it for herself but for chase.” Said both adam ad steve. As alexander watched, he noticed that alex was not watching her step as her foot had become tangled in the cord.
“She is going to fall.”
“No she is not, alex knows what she is doing. Leave her alone.” Said steve. Placing his hand on alexander’s arm, he kept him from moving forward. Alexander watched alex as she jumped onto an ampler fire and smiled. She twisted her foot up and flipped off the stage.
“She’s an idiot! That move has never been mastered!” yelled blade. As adam and steve blocked their way they watched. Scared that she may not succeed the music began to get louder. The group knew it was true only one person has been able to master it and that was chase. Chase knew the move and knew the timing to do it. Alex landed on her feet as the music ended and smiled.
“She did it…..she actually mastered it.” Alexander mumbled under his breath. He knew that alex was not going to lose. Adam and steve ran over to alex and helped her up. As the judges were tailing the votes, alex stood with her group. Alexander walked over with his and stood there watching. As the jugdes talked it seemed endless talk.
“We have come to problem. As you see we only have one spot left for one of these two groups. As we counted the votes from everyone, it has come to a tie. The thing is we have decided to let both groups join.” Said sierra. As the groups cheered, the judge simon hollered quieting the groups.
“We have decided to let both groups pass if they work together as one group,” said simon. As he continued to talk alex’s face became pale, “Please welcome locked tears!” as the entire crowd cheered for the two alex lost it.
“No! Why is that? That can’t be possible. I will not work with that group. I will not allow it for my team.”
“Well you either join up together or neither of you will continue on.”
“But Simon...”
“No, miss Alex you choose what is best.” Scolded simon. The judges left as so did everyone else. Alex followed her brothers as we followed locked hearts to their place.
“Why?”
“Oh come on, alex it is not bad. I mean we can wipe out everyone if we join groups. I don’t mind it.” Said alexander.
“Oh sure, because you can take control. I won’t allow it, neither will the girls.” Said alex. Mimi, sindy and raino nodded their heads. Alexander smiled and slapped his hands against the wall behind alex.
“Now then how about we talk?” said alexander. Soon before he could say anything else, alex swung her arm around and began to fight with him. They continued to fight as adam and steve kept the others back.
“Adam steve! Why don’t you stop them? Alex is going to end up hurt!” said mimi.
“These other team needs to learn about the others and alexander learning about alex is the best way.” Said steve.
“Hey you ok?” said alexander. After missing his head within a few inches alex started to cough.
“I am fine…just leave me alone…” said alex. She took off running as alexander followed in pursuit.
“Wait,” said alexander as he grabbed her arm, “what is wrong?”
“I need to be left alone….”
“Oh, your fake attacks. Heh your so pathetic.”
"Shut up!” yelled alex. She punched him in the jaw causing him to fall, “You don’t know anything. Your just another idiot!”
“Hey…”
“Your no one! Chase would have been there for me!”
“Calm down….”
“Just leave me alone! I just wish I died!”
“Alex!” hollered alexander as he hugged her tightly. As they stood there, he could feel her shaking, breathing heavily, and in pain.
“Calm down. I don’t know if this whole thing is true but after you hitting me, and mentioning the name chase I have to believe. I don’t know how to help you but I’ll do my best. We have to work together, so please….” Whispered alexander as he sat down against the wall while holding alex. Alex laid her back against his chest and struggled to calm her breathing down.
“Just…keep….me…..breathing……and….talking.” begged alex. Alexander nodded and placed his hand on her heart and held the other hand.
“Just follow my breathing. Listen.” Alexander whispered as he slowly breathed with alex. She continued to listen to his breathing as they talked. They were outside after realizing the night sky. Only an hour went by and alex seem to be relax with alexander around.
“I see, chase was your idol and was always helping you. So this beat of death what is it?” questioned alexander.
“It is nothing.” She said as she stood up.
“Look go back to your group, I got to head to the hotel. My number is 619-***-****, just call me when we need to meet up. Also, I won’t give you the chance to fall for me. I won’t allow it.” She smiled and walked away. After getting home, alex saw the girls sighing not in relief but in something that had scared alex.
“Oh alex your back!” shouted the girls.
“What is with you three?”
“Uh…what is wrong with you girls?” said alex worried of the response.
“OH alex we hung out with the guys blade, willy, and kaito after you and alexander disappeared. We think the guys are sweet also we have a date with them on Friday.” Smiled mimi
“But…that is tomorrow…”
“Yea and we thought you and alexander might want to come.” Asked sindy.
“No!”
“But alex…” said raine
“No! I never will love again! Why? Because they aren’t chase! He is never chase nor will he ever replace him! I am the leader and I say if you fall in love with them I am leaving the group, I will drop out and you can join them.”
“Sister! Alex! We think that s too much for them to handle. We thought it would be ok with them going.” Said both steve and adam.
“You agreed!?” alex yelled. Adam walked over and tried to talk with her but she shved them back and ran to her room. Steve went to open the door but it was locked.
“Adam…”
“It is ok steve. Girls goes to sleep, alex will be ok, just let her cool down.” Said adam. As the room went quiet alex laid on her bed staring out the window and fell asleep locking her heart with another beat.
