Maybe for you, but most try to devalue the current series as if 'debating' is more important than entertainment value....and the problem with anime fandoms is that people believe them. The importance placed on something being a 'filler arc' as a negative thing is a bizarre fandom invention. Also...Death of the Author dictates that all fiction is naturally plagiarism, Naruto more than most. Therefore the place of an author is irrelevant.
Debating is great fun but first people must realise their concept of a 'canon' timeline to a fictional series is itself, a fictional invention.

Watch Anime. Sarada did the same thing Itachi did to Naruto when he got back from training with Jiraiya. Naruto thought he was fighting Itachi the entire time, only to find out that he had been fighting a clone.
Sarada did the exact same thing to Chocho. She fooled her into thinking she was fighting her, only for her to reveal herself standing on a tree branch.
She didn't get defeated by a clone. Boruto simply showed better proficiency, and it's not surprising since he's had the jutsu almost all of his life. It's the first jutsu he learned.
Naruto soloed a Chuunin on his first day of becoming ninja.
Boruto soloed fodders.
Even his loser dad did better than him as an amateur Genin.

CES has killed a sentient being. Rasengan on the other hand did nothing to Shojoji. Boruto had to have his mess cleaned up for him by Sarada and Mitsuki. Though we all know it was Sarada since she's the one who knocked out Shojoji with a CES-induced kick placed well behind his neck.
I can't wait till Sarada fights that Seven Ninja Swordsman girl.
