Eh I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet. It look like they are going to buildup the villains now.

Logically it wouldn't make sense for Team Konohamaru to go straight into a serious battle just after this long exposition. However, it does mean that we are getting closer to getting a real fight soon.

But it won't be next month, I think. I suspect 2-3 more chapters before someone meets these villains.

My money is on Sasuke.

I think the climax of the story is when Kawaki, and probably the Kara destroy Konohagakure.

Considering Boruto started off with future chapter, I don't think we have to wait a few years after 'Part 1' ends. They'll probably transition to the future seamlessly.

Hmm your probably right, I was thinking some disastrous sh t would go down, and we're reintroduced a couple years down afterwards. If you played ff7, remember when cloud gets sucked into the life stream at the end of disc 1 and you wake up to a world with Weapons tearing sh t up? Something like that lol but a couple years down. Yea my mind with nuts with that one

Well, all of them already have spectacular feats. I mean, for their age, they can do spectacular stuff.

Sarada has a Sharingan and we haven't seen her using it properly. She didn't have it activated in none of her fighting panels @ the manga. They all have techniques/abilities (according to the DB) that they haven't shown yet, and probably even more abilities than the ones which DB described.

I'm just tired of them doing the same stuff over and over. That's a waste considering they all have so much more to show.

I think this story is more scaled than Naruto in the sense that they probably know when it ends, since they already created or thought of the Boruto v. Kawaki fight (however I don't think this is the ending to the series).

Probably in between we have to find out:

* More about the Kara
* More about Kawaki
* More about the seals
* More about Momoshiki's warning to Boruto ('You will lose everything close to you')
* More about the Otsutsuki themselves

I don't expect shit to hit the fan until Part 2 of the series. For sure. I bet the destruction of the Leaf will be an epic chapter, where we see all of the next generation fighting for their lives leading up to the climax fight.

Still there's a lot of mysteries along the way. In between I suspect that we will get proper development for Sarada's Sharingan, Boruto's Dojutsu, and Mitsuki's Sage Mode as well.

So there is A LOT to look forward to.

I agree, the simple introduction of "kara" got me wanting to read more, which is a good thing, question though, does this kinda confirm you don't need to defeat an ootsutsuki for the seal as some where suggesting? As I find it kinda hard to believe that a whole group of people pulled that off(I could be wrong though)

Yeah I suspect that it's probably man made in the first place /w the Otsutsuki's help.

I don't see these guys who look like they might be supporting the aliens, killing them off for power. But who knows

You guys are comparing the naruto manga to the boruto manga, which is why your expectations of the manga is so "high". The manga isn't boring, it's just your expectations are too high for something that's fairly new.
