When Boruto took out his shuriken, he said "Uchiha-Ryuu Shuriken Jutsu" which leads me to believe this is the Shuriken Jutsu technique Sasuke taught him (aka Boruto Movie: Sasuke was teaching him how to bend his shuriken, basically curve them).
However, when Boruto applies Lightning Release to his weapons, he says: "Ika-zuchi, san-ren"
In English it means: Triple Thunder .... Love it.
Anyway my thoughts on the fight and Boruto's strategy:
I think was he was impressive this fight, more so since Shojoji was a high rogue in the Bingo Book (and it would have made no sense for Boruto to have defeated him without any outside help). Like Sasuke does in Part 2, he combined Lightning with his weapons. He also utilized a one handed Rasengan, and decided not to use the Vanishing Rasengan due to the strategy of Shojoji's wind barrier. He was thinking with his head and was trying to find a way to defeat the boss, by using a smokescreen and kage feint combination, despite the fact that ninjutsu is useless against him. I love that the author is slowly fleshing out just how talented Boruto is, and how versatile he will become later down the line.
The ending note does confirm, like I talked about earlier, that Shojoji isn't down for the count. Things are just starting.
I'll give the chapter a 4-5/10, nothing special but definitely better than the last chapter.
