Changing signature to a GIF

So I keep trying to get a GIF in my signature and I copy and paste the link to it just like you would to a picture under the customization option and it only has the link when I post, not the picture. Any help?

Yeah, like your signature is really cool but it never works for me xD As you can see all I get is a link, not the actual GIF and I have tried SEVERAL times.

Do this;

[IMG]*insert url here*[/IMG"]

And basically, delete the qutation mark highlighted for you. GOOD LUCK.

OK, so I scrolled down my profile and I saw that I did not have permission to change it to a GIF and I am unable to change that setting myself, almost as if it is a restriction. I am new heard and only have like 14 posts, and you guys have several thousand xD Do I need to "unlock" the ability to use a GIF just like I needed 10 posts to use a picture?

i honestly don't know...i was able to use a gif as a sig when i first joined NB....maybe they changed the rules...post more and see if it works

Yeah, I just got back into like editing my profile and adding stuff and I see that the format of things seems to be a little different xD I'll just keep posting and try at like 50 or something. Thanks for the help!

I have it like that right now (I have also tried with a space between the brackets) and it still does not work. But the bottom of my profile also has a restriction to certain things and one of them is a GIF signature. I unlocked getting a picture signature today by having more than ten posts. Do you happen to know the number for unlocking GIF signature? Because I have tried everyone's suggestions.
