Chakra is The building part of Almost Any Ninja Arts.
Its Spiritual and Pyshical energy Found Everywhere in the Body,In Every Cell.
It has 361 Chakra points.
You can Direct Chakra From any Point to Your Body.
From Your Hands to Your Feet.
Helping in Stuff Such as walking on Water or Ceilings
Chakra Can be used in Many Things.
From Creating A Water Blade To Creating a Grand Fire ball.

I will Explain Them as Best as Possible.
Genjutsu: using Chakra To Change The Targets Flow of Chakra,Creating an Illusion.
kenjutsu: by Inserting Chakra into Your Blade you can Cut and Slash With Greater Speed and Sharpness
Nature Transformation/Elemental Ninjutsu: By Using Nature Transformation,You Use one or Multiple Elemental Chakra Forms.
Water,Fire,Wind,lightning,earth. You are able to manipulate existing Elements or Create Elements from your Body.
Shape Transformation/Ninjutsu: By Molding Your Chakra You are Capable Of Giving It Forms,Releases a large amount of Chakra Into a Concentrates Sphere Such as the Rasengan,This Requires Good Chakra Control.

As Of handseals,Those are used to Help Manipulating Chakra.
Its Used as a Quick way to Use Difficult Jutsu.

Pure Chakra Is Used in Jutsu Such as The Rasengan.
its part of Shape Transformation.
Its Highly Importand for alot of Jutsu.

Elemental Chakra
Elemental Chakra is Pure chakra But With a Changed affinity.
For Things Such as Suiton,Katon,Fuuton,Raiton,Doton.
Its Part of Nature Transformation.
For a Succesfull Elemental Chakra Attack,You Need Both Nature Transformation and Shape Transformation.

Nature Transformation
Nature Transformation is Advanced Chakra Controll.
The User can Mold his chakra Into a Diffrent Affinity.
Altough this Requires Good Chakra Control.
Nature transformation is one of two necessary techniques for creating a technique, its counterpart being shape transformation.
Few shinobi can use both shape manipulation and nature manipulation.
This is Used in Many Things.
Mostly The Basic 5 Elements.
Water,Fire,Wind,Lightning,Earth.
In general, every person has chakra that has an affinity towards one of these types, a characteristic that seems to be genetic, since whole clans sometimes share the same affinity. Most members of the Uchiha clan, for example, had an affinity towards the Fire nature.Besides the five basic nature types, there are several more advanced types. By initiating more than one basic chakra nature transformation simultaneously, one can create a completely new nature of chakra with unique properties. Doing this requires a special ability and such abilities are rarely seen outside a kekkei genkai or kekkei tōta. In the anime, it is stated that those with the ability to utilise advanced natures possess an affinity for the chakra natures they must simultaneously activate.

They are a set of techniques used by ninjas specifically to deceive their opponent by manipulating the flow of chakra in the victim's brain. Unlike the ninjutsu and taijutsu, which effects the opponent physically, Genjutsu effects the opponent's senses (or mentally) and thus misleads the opponent to believe in non-factual happenings around them. Genjutsu, in most cases, are also used to inflict damage or paralysis upon the victim by making them believe that they are being hurt in some manner. Another use of genjutsu is for interrogation purpose to obtain certain information out of the victim.
Genjutsu Is Used By the Kuruma clan and the Uchiha Clan.
As They Specialise in it.

A Way to Detect Genjutsu is By Feeling Something off with your Chakra Flow.
Genjutsu is based on That So its what i can guess.

The Strength is:
Its great for Torturing and Getting answers.
Its Good To Use in Combo Attacks as your opponent will be paralised for a Few Seconds,Even if they Break trough it.
Altough,Genjutsu isn't A Direct attack.
So Basically All Other Types of Ninjutsu,Taijutsu or Kenjutsu are its Weakness.

1. I Look for stuff that don't make sense.
you look at how the genjutsu doesn't make sense. If it's an illusionary tree coming out of the ground, does the ground crack underneath it? Do you feel the ground trembling a bit as a huge tree is rising up.
Or if it's an illusionary fireball from the sky (depending on the description) do you feel that it is getting warmer as it approaches you?
2. Because ... Genjutsu Is different than those,Those Jutsu Types are all Direct Offensive(can be Defensive ofcourse)
But Genjutsu Have Certain Requirements and such,Thus its Not The best to Use in a battle.
also,When your opponent fires an attack towards you,The other Jutsu Types can somehow Deflect/Dodge it.
While genjutsu Can't.

3. I think Scent,Sight,Taste,touches,And Memory. Since... Genjutsu is also known as Mind arts.

You are right for the first one.
-The second makes no sense. Genjutsu is different from ninjutsu and you can't totally say genjutsu is weak to them. I was thinking you'll say genjutsu is weak to anything that can be used to break from it.
-5 senses..Sight, Touch, Taste, Hearing, Smell.. Thats all, they are all linked to the mind so there is not separate one called mind.

Now tell me again, how to

-Break from a genjutsu, ways and situations
-what is genjutsu layering?

there are multiple ways to Break from a genjutsu.

Some Jutsu allow you to break from it by Biting.
But not in the Rp(i think?)

The best way of breaking out of Genjutsu is using The Genjutsu Release Jutsu.
It allow you to Break From Certain ranked genjutsu.
Another way that is handy is by using the sharingan.
It will allow you to see trough genjutsu.

genjutsu Layering is When you Layer a Certain Ranked Genjutsu And a one Rank Lower genjutsu Over each other.
This allows to Create an even Harder to Break Genjutsu.

Biting is not a jutsu. Its freeform and this is because genjutsus can be broken from using pain and biting yourself in one way of acheiving that.

Genjutsu layering allows you to cast more than one genjutsu on a target at a time without one disrupting the other. Although there are certain rule which are to be followed to achieve this.
-The genjutsus can be of the same rank
or
-The first genjutsu can be higher interms of rank that the second genjutsu
(if its otherwise, then the second genjutsu overwrites the first genjutsu)
-When breaking from a layered genjutsu, its either you break from them individually or you use a higher rank body surge to break from both at once.
