[Suggestion] Changing from Dislike to Like & Vice-Versa

Regarding the Like/Dislike feature, would it be possible to add a feature to change your decision?

I noticed a few slip-ups of mine where I would dislike a post rather than like it, or vice-versa, so I was wondering if there can be a way to switch your choice or remove it all together.

I disagree, it's just a dislike or vice versa. If you dislike a post that you meant to like say it in your reply about your mistake, a simple dislike isn't gonna hurt the person. Most people would just just rather be happy that you agree with them.

It would probably be too complex to implement something like that. It would be easier to just tell the person you didn't mean it and rep him/her.

Why? If you somehow you made a mistake by disliking a comment that you wanted to like, just tell that person that you made a mistake plus a like or dislike won't do harm in any way.

I think the dislike and like buttons shouldn't exist altogether. Repping works just as well, Well that's just my opinion.

No, it's much better if it's left the way it is.

This would be extra strain on the site's system, it's not needed. You can just inform the other person if you accidentally disliked, people do it all the time. Besides, I doubt that anyone would get significantly hurt by someone supposedly disagreeing with one post they made on an online forum.
