Jiriaya kicked Human Path. And how do we quantify Human Path's skill? His only feat against a high tier is effortlessly blocking Jiriaya's punch. That would be circular reasoning revolving around a paradox. Yet Asura owned Jiriaya and was owned by Naruto.

Itachi easily

Brains = itachi
Speed = itachi
Kill moves = itachi (quality)

Jiraiya is not kabuto people shouldn't use, kabuto as a gauge
J-man is no where as fast as kabuto or people suggest his reflexes aren't even naruto level

The only thing that J-man edges at is stamina. Tsukuyomi having killer effect is still doubtful.SM Jiraiya speed had drastically increase as he blitzed Human Realm (with shared vision) and presumably his reflex as well,rendering Amaterasu or Totsuka almost useless.

But yea,as you briefly pointed out,Itachi won't be having too much difficulty to outsmart Jiraiya with bunshin feint etc, as he'd done so against Kabuto,who is inarguably smarter than Jiraiya.Smaller and weaker ability can be very useful in battle,which is the crucial factor to determine the victor of this fight.​

Firstly, it takes a shitload of time for Jiraiya to activate SM. Even if he manage, he relies on summons too much. He even two have on his arms. Do you know what is summons weakness? Sharingan, which can simply take control over them. Itachi can just make one of them decapitate pervy. Not to mention that even in SM Jiraiya is not fast enough to escape Sharingan eyesight, which means that Amaterasu is deadly for him.

You need not bring back this. Its very clear that itachi would beat jiraiya before he gets in sm and even in sm, itachi still has the advantage.

Secondly not only have we receieved the news about itachi's true motive, the latest chapter had basically put this debate to rest when kabuto said this;
